I assume there are also other criteria as well?

The fact that it is useful technology though means they’ll always have a fullback. It’s not going to go way like bitcoin I guarantee it.
The blockchain bubble burst because everyone with a brain could see from the start that it wasn’t really a useful technology. AI actually does have some advantages so they won’t go completely bust as long as they don’t go completely mad and start declaring that it can do things it can’t do.
Put a sticker on it. But realistically, I’ve yet to see any products that were made by an AI on the market. So what exactly is this sticker going to go on?
I’ve never understood the supposed problem. Either AI is a gimmick, in which case you don’t need to worry about it. Or it’s real, in which case no one’s going to use it to automate art, don’t worry.
Yeah if you boil it in the plastic container then you’re going to have problems.
Yes all the energy goes into being heat but you have to put a lot of energy into the wire before it heats up. Microwaves barely use any energy in fact it takes more power to run the little clock than the microwave itself.
I don’t think anybody seriously thinks that hot H2O can have a different formulation. What, are we postulating the existence of isotopes for molecules now?
I don’t know what you’ve made there, but it isn’t tea.
You can of course, keep the kettle.
Because resistive heating is inefficient. You need to pump a lot of power through to get a lot of heat. A microwave does not use resistive heating and works on a completely different principle and therefore the amount of power available is much less importance.
That’s true but if you don’t mind the fact that the AI can’t learn anything new you can actually go hardware optimization routes and get pretty good performance. We’re starting to see AI chips being made. They will do for AI what GPUs did for graphics.
However these hardware optimized chips are only for running the AI you still need GPUs for training it. I could see a situation where new models are trained by big companies and then the results are sold to individuals who then buy the packages and install them on local chips.
I’m sure I can install a local AI on a Windows PC as well. Linux is not the solution to every possible problem in the universe. Oh indeed many of them
I think there is some sort of conference. The key would be to convince all the Linux users to stop telling us about it the rest of the time.
Linux uses and vegans have the same “I’m better than you” energy.
They do. They are called servers.
But no one is using Linux desktop computers in a business environment because corporate IT departments don’t want to have to deal with the nightmare that is installing packages every 5 minutes.
Linux is fine if you’re into computers and like fiddling around, but if you just need the damn thing to work you don’t want to mess with Linux. It doesn’t “just work”.
Human brains aren’t binary. They send signals in lot of various strength. So “on” has a lot of possible values. The part of the brain that controls emotions considers low but non zero level of activation to be happy and high level of activation to be angry.
It’s not simple at all.
No they really are hateful people, they are just using this as an excuse to kill people they hate, it’s not a mistake they’re meaning to do this. They were never going to ask the UN to intervene because that would have robbed them of the opportunity to commit mass slaughter.
Yeah and if they start attacking NATO countries it’s going to end badly for them. The US will drop support like a hot rock. They really won’t like it I’m sure, but they are not going to back Israel over NATO, it’s just not happening.
Oh yeah like his recent video of if you pour molten larva over a can of baked beans it blows up. Wow, really interesting.
Weird of you to continue the argument at this point really
