I suspect my cellphone does, but not my work or home internet.

IPv6 is now twice as old as IPv4 was when IPv6 was introduced. 20 years ago I worried about needing to support it. Now I don’t even think about it at all.
I think the movie actually did a reasonable job of explaining it. Multiple different households were traveling together, the whole thing was chaotic, a neighbors kid dropped by and was included in the head count, Kevin was on the attic and so out of sight, they were running late, etc.
Almost makes me wonder if this is a mechanical turk situation.
At least those folks get some food. The chipotle near me tells people to order online and then does nothing until hours after the food was due and people complain.
Considering anime, she is either way to young or way to old to be president
I liked Gensin Impact for the first few years, but last time I played it, that game was the worst example of this.
Teleport to location. Chat with npc for 5 minutes. Teleport to next location. Chat with another npc rehashing the first conversation for 5 minutes. Quick fight with trivial enemies. Teleport back to first npc Chat about random crap, slow walk to another npc, rehash the earlier conversation again, walk back to starting location, receive the most basic of rewards.
The game is 90% dialog of which very little is relevant or meaningful and none can be skipped. There is an auto advance option for conversations, but so many meaningless dialog prompts (with options are always the same semanticly) that it doesn’t work.
Of course this is all by design as the real goal is to sell you characters, not play a game.
After nearly a year on lemmy, I’m guessing it was capitalism or maybe microsoft.
My pet conspiracy theory that California does not exist. It was invented by democrats to pad their electoral votes. Any one who has traveled there actually went to a staged area in Oregon. Anyone who claims to live there is either brainwashed or in on it. Maps, globes, etc. have all been altered. Satellites have special software that adds California to its images. Spacecraft windows are actually screens that digitally alter earth to add California.
Once you consider that California is allegedly the location of Hollywood and movies often create convincing, fake worlds, it makes sense. Hollywood was created to take advantage of the tech developed to fake California and continue funding the conspiracy…
I stopped going to five guys three years ago when a burger, fries, and a drink hit over $20. I’m not sure the local place was ever under $10.
Maybe like a subscription where people could pay a fee to avoid ads?
For the US, possibly mass transit. I think there is a market for a sort of Uberlike, on demand minibus service, especially as baby boomers get older and need to stop driving. Similar services do exist already, but like the taxis Uber competes with, they are limited and outdated.
E-bikes are becoming more popular. We are finally starting to get faster trains…

So lead, plastic, and PFAS are fine but fluoride is where they draw the line…?
I could see this fit in perfectly with normal bus routes, but field trips and athletic events could be a challenge, especially for rural schools. Nothing that could not be planned around but possibly an extra cost (e.g. charter buses) or needing to keep the kids entertained while charging on the road.
I’m confused. Are farmers the ones buying oversized trucks just to drop of the kids and shop at Walmart.
Just yesterday I discovered the prices change depending on whether or not I’m logged in. Supposedly this only happens when there are multiple sellers and Amazon favors the ones that honor prime… but I could not find the lower priced seller anywhere when logged in. Now I’m wondering if prime actually increases shipping costs because vendors just raise their overall prices to cover it… very, very close to dropping prime this year.
Now I worry it is only a matter of time before the “Supreme Court” rules that convected fellons can have guns…
Self driving cars and fusion. I’m still optimistic about fusion.
