Magneto!
Magneto!
When a company of his does bad it’s his fault, when one does good it’s other people’s fault?
The guy’s a fucking prick, don’t get me wrong.
Woah, how did you know my definition of better?
What electric car was better than a Model X in 2015?
I think they did pretty well considering the couple of months the teams had to work on this.
The rules might need to be updated a bit though. Safety cars don’t make as much sense to me when there are no people involved.
The “don’t pass under yellow” rule kind of screws things up when you’ve got a full course yellow for the half of the race that wasn’t under the safety car.
Yeah, I stopped researching it. Perhaps we should go back to the more measured approach from earlier in the thread.
investors should be taken to a remote planet and left to fend for themselves.
I’m looking forward to watching the TV adaptation soon. Mr. Bates vs. The Post Office.
Seems like slightly more than half of American workers (56%) participate in a “workplace retirement plan” which I don’t know the definition of. Pension or 401k if I had to guess.
Yikes, I hope you don’t have a pension.
But any insight it might have about racing is not its own, and so it may not feel genuine to someone who knows it’s AI. It’s nice to have former racers as commentators because they give you information that few other people have, like Martin Brundle for example.
Some AI could say the same stuff, but you’d know it was coming from a computer, not experience. Maybe that would change over time, but I’m not convinced.
So, since writing the above I’ve been having issues with YouTube. I’ve been connected to my VPN, so perhaps that’s part of it (by which I mean Google slowing it down, the VPN doesn’t noticeably slow down any other sites).
I tried deactivating my ad blocker, but it hasn’t made a difference. I’ll try more stuff to see if I can figure it out.
Anecdotally at best. I know it’s not what you want to hear, but you’re making a conclusion based on something one person said.
Same, YT Premium, Firefox, ad blocker, no issues with streaming.
What would you get them to use instead? I use Proton personally, but I doubt many companies are using it at scale.
Obviously it’s a no to your question. Consider the point that the other person is making, though… Planes are bad sometimes regardless of whether they were built in capitalist or communist societies, so perhaps the root cause is not politics.
Google is intentionally shedding staff to reduce costs to increase their share price. I don’t think they’re actually having any kind of financial issues that would cause this. This is just a company chasing profit at the cost of their staff.
How is the result good news?
Yeah, just press this button with a picture of a floppy disk on it.
“What’s a floppy disk?”
I’m using IE5.5 and a screen resolution of 800x600 because a website said that was the best way to view it 25 years ago.
