Dishonored is the closest Deus Ex successor in my mind. Harvey Smith in the level design DNA.
I believe Apple still has the power to block third party store apps based on signature. It’s a security thing to be able clean malware.
South Park was right all along. Those time travelers really are taking our jobs.
As I said, it’s on consoles too — including Switch. It’s just that it’s a secondary platform for it — meaning it may be a lesser experience than on the platform it was ported from.
I’m dubious Android even serves as a base for Kobo’s OS. I’ve seen no evidence to support that claim.
EDIT: if you are referring to Tolinos, they are not simple rebrands of Kobos.
Outward is on consoles as well, though PC is its primary platform.
Tolinos use different processors precisely because they run Android, while Kobos do not.
I’m not aware of any Kobo using Android.
Kobo? No. They have their own firmware.
There’s still a good chance of a DOJ antitrust case against Apple coming that seeks allowing alternative app stores (and Apple’s way of complying with the part of this case that went against them makes it even more likely, I think). But Epic’s case is done, yes, unless they want to challenge Apple’s compliance with the ruling.
I swear everytime Twitch updates their policies for clarity, they just get even more confusing.
I don’t generally force a pitch for different genders if that’s what you’re talking about. If I’m doing a voice, it’ll be in the accent and/or volume more and maybe the mannerisms.
There are a few things I consider when picking gender in a game.
In tabletop D&D, gender tends to be the last thing I choose in a character (as opposed to video games that usually want it to be your first choice), and I basically just look at the made character including personality and backstory and realize that it’s more interesting or fun to play as one gender or the other.
For using onenote in Linux, I just made an app out of the web version in Epiphany/GNOME Web. It’s not as smooth as a real app, but it’s functional. I expect you could do it with Chromium too.
This is the type of processor companies want in things like VM servers that host large numbers of VMs.
GPU processing units are really good at only specific kinds of computation. These are still all-around processors.
Non-competes aren’t a thing in California. OpenAI obviously own the IP, but that doesn’t mean an investor like MS wouldn’t have enough rights to effectively take it and build from it.
Altman and Brockman were the founding leadership of the company/organization and many of these employees are “rockstar” researchers. They wanted to be a part of what they were leading — so it makes sense they still would even if it’s under Microsoft.
Firefox everywhere. It’s not perfect, but is still the closest a browser gets.
Unless I need a PWA on desktop, then Edge (windows) or ungoogled chromium (linux).
