Yeah, its a bit strange that even now there are some downsides to having an official diagnosis. I remember reading about a court case where a father was not able to get custody of his children because he was diagnosed with ASD. So even though we pretend there aren’t any repercussions for having a disorder, there still are edge cases like this.

Personally I think it stems from the stigma around ASD.

I honestly wonder if i have ASD. Cuz there are quite a few more symptoms of ASD that I have. But my psychiatrist told me not to seek a formal diagnosis mostly cuz its so difficult to get in germany and it has more downs and ups for an adult.

True but there is definitely a threshold, above which it is considered to be a disorder. For me I definitely don’t forget things, a lil bit too much tbh. Which often causes me extreme anxiety, as is the case in obsessional disorders. But i also find relatively easier tasks difficult, but sometimes I’m solving trigonometric problems in my head trying to sleep. And i also often seem lazy because of some of these issues

Whats strange is that OCD and ADHD are often shown on a spectrum, both at extremes. Which is why i was confused, how can i be at both extremes?

How can i start? I mean its not like i have any friends on simpleX so whats the point? Does it have public groups that one can search for?

The sad part is sometimes, it is your own voice calling you lazy while knowing full that you are depressed. Sometimes, it is more difficult to convince yourself that you need help more than convincing others

I don’t think he is a “tech bro scam guy”, i think he is worse like he is smart and has a documented track record of lying. Unlike other tech bros, he actually knows the capability /limits of his products and he still lies and makes it out to be something it’s not.

They put open in their name to get good talent, investments and so people would have a soft spot for them when they collect tons of data to build their product.

Their internal chats that were released in musk lawsuit reveals they knew they were gonna switch to for profit model (they here means the top brass). But they still lied to everybody about their intentions.
