Odysee ! I use a extention even so if I click a video on YouTube and it is also on odysee it opened odysee instead.
Htop vim and ncdu to name a few terminal apps.
As someone who daily drives Opensuse TW and have used arch, gentoo etc. I would highly recommend mint for a new user most of the time. It is one of the distros that works out of the box without any tinkering. Want to add a printer on opensue using yast? good luck. in mint it is a few clicks. just to name a example
Maybe Alpine is suited? Although the whonix VM requirement will not be pleasant or work at all. But that is more of a hardware limitation.
Anyone has recommendations on where to find information on who to vote for for the European parliament elections?
IBM Maximo :) Both are expensive but not for you average consumer.
For me it is partially the way canonical pushes snaps and forces it on to users. More so they are slow and the proprietary back end is a huge downside. Some snaps are know broken and cause more harm then good like the steam snap for example. Steam actively discourages users from even using it.
No idea. but I remember the direct download link for the iso to became available due to it.
Not sure if it is still possible. But I believe you can on Tor if you spoof your user agent to be a black berry or some other device. Then you can grab the direct download link to the iso and download it over Tor. Been some time since I have done this though. Keep in mind this is from memory so it might be slightly different.
If you do go digging you would get caught. Safest way is removal in those situations. I rather have some data removed which preferably I have backups up. Then have to risk jail time in some country.
My experience is quite the opposite. I have and still use both and find samba one of the more unreliable things. Freeipa does what it does with no issues.
I hope the global catalog gets finished one day for freeipa.
A duress password to remove selected profiles would be amazing. So it still unlocks but quietly removes the profiles you are worried about.
Yeah i did this until they make the entire homepage blank if you keep history off. Very annoying.
I believe Germany is working on that. Recently they have started to migrate 30K systems or so from windows to Linux.
It is so stupid… Why make drama instead of making linux better as a whole. A sad thing to see in general.
Also because the google pixel its bootloader can be relocked without much trouble. that is a big part of why GOS only supports pixel phones.
