I was able to do that for a few years bit I was living with my parents and paying them a pittance for rent. Certainly not independent. All my expenses shot up when I left but I was able to pay a lot of my loans off before that.

FX is one of the only 2 apps I ever paid for and it’s great. I needed something to access SMB shares and it has always worked wonderfully. It’s good for poking around in the file system on the phone too. There may be better stuff out since I bought it years ago but I’ve never had a reason to check.
This but it’s like 6 hours for me.
Probably some short story I read in high school but from what I can remember the first one that came to mind is Blood Meridian
I haven’t played it like the 3rd expansion but back then we had or bank raided by some guy that hacked out Mgs account and they were able restore it and his items when he got his account back. It did take some time to do though so maybe they can’t do that on a large scale.
‘A lot of games are released with high budgets, and they’re not selling’
The good ones are.
Yea, that’s a good analogy for what’s happening.
I can’t explain how to do this because it’s in my head but when I have to make a call or something I keep putting off I can force myself to do it by kind of taking my brain out of the equation. Like for a phone call I just start dialing and by the time the procrastinating part of me catches on to what’s happening the phone is already ringing and I might as well go through with it.
It’s a great strategy to have your employees backstabbing each other instead of working together too. “Oh, Jim is struggling? Good, one more person below me in the ranks”.
My brother’s wife bought me a pair a couple years ago and I was really skeptical but they are great. They also help me not get stressed out when I’m around loud children which was another big issue for me. I actually enjoy going to family gatherings now and don’t have to step away to calm my nerves every 30 minutes or so.
Same. I hate eating with other people unless theirs a loud tv/music in the background. I have found that those loop earplugs help with it at least but then you have to answer questions about what those are.
Seems like if jettisoning weight was the issue dumping some of the less essential supplies would work just as well…
Wait are old pokemon cards actually valuable? I probably still have some somewhere at my parents house…
I do recommend NOT watching YouTube Obsidian “gurus”, their system works for them not you.
One of these is actually what got me started with it. I do not rigidly adhere to their system but it was a nice starting point I have since adapted to my own style. If I had gone into it blind I would have made a lot less progress because I’m kind of dumb when I have nothing to go off.
It’s not about the vaping it’s about teaching them to not waste public money on stupid shit.
A few years ago I was responsible for provisioning accounts in an application with a shitty admin UI. The process for doing so was to create the account and then give the account access it required by clicking in the list of available access and then clicking the arrow to move it over to the assigned list. Or you could just double click on it. To remove access you did the same thing from the assigned list to the available list. Or you could go into a particular item and remove the accounts from it that way. One day I was working through terminating a department that had been laid off when I noticed that on one of the largest access items the account list only had names up to “j” in the alphabet. Apparently my mouse had developed a double click problem and I had managed to select the bottom half of that list. I did not have access to any logs or anything that would allow me to reverse that change and it was a Saturday so I was basically fucked until Monday morning when I could contact the application support and they could hopefully fix it.
Imagine paying taxes for education and they spend it on shit like this.
Japan. practically everything I really enjoy comes from there.
I don’t really know how to explain it but I just start doing whatever it is “automatically”. Like I take my brain out of the equation and just start doing it. This is only moderately effective and works a lot better with physical tasks like exercising but it’s the only way I get things done some times. I should probably be medicated but that requires making an appointment, going to a doctor and talking about my problems which so far has not been something I can force myself to do.
Seems like that should be paid by the military…
