Absolutely. The divide isn’t going to be solved any time soon.
I respect those who choose the high road, but acting in good faith and expecting reciprocation is what they love to dunk on.

Yummy.
I won’t eat that onion, but I love them for baiting the hook.
I personally don’t, but some dogs love it. It’s their safe space.
I don’t know how to be completely proper without diminishing the meaning of my statement all the time, but I agree with this statement’s substance and structure. I hope people can take comments like this without feeling degraded.
Nobody should be forced to wear a uniform that diminishes their hard work and achievements that earned them the required uniform. Olympians are going to want high performance garb - generally tight-fitting and light weight. That doesn’t mean the team organizers should go hog wild on showing skin to boost ratings. It’s impressive, inspiring, and (for me) a bit depressing to see the peak human form without being creepy, but these folks have worked far too hard to be objectified.
But if they’re down, I’m down
*Edited afterthought: Do NCAA gymnasts have uniform issues? I don’t see their competitions often, but they tend to stay in place to my knowledge. I’m not trying to argue for the new uniforms - it just seems like those uniforms would be a relevant case study.
Short chain oil!? At first I thought you were bs’ing about seasoning a pan with gear oil.
That sent me down a novel rabbit hole. Thanks for your input!
Well that’s even harsher. They’ll let you build up some principal before garnishment.
Awesome photo choice!
“What’s in the box?”
There’s a name for people who try to shut down free speech.

You could still turn that for a profit
Way to pile on. You’ve really made a difference and shown how shiny your armor is.
Too much or too little?
I’m not super far left in the whole scheme of things, mostly because I don’t think my preferred team would win the ensuing battle - but anything essential for living a baseline quality of life should be protected from profiteers and fraudsters. Capitalism is cruel and selfish.
I live in a tiny blue dot in a sea of red, so I don’t have a lot of negative interactions in my day to day. I feel like the U.S. as a nation lived that way for a bit prior to Trump or even tea partiers, but now they’ve gained enough traction that folks are willing to say and do dumb shit in public shamelessly. I don’t think that cat goes back in the bag easily and I would LOVE to be wrong about that.
It happens. I didn’t notice much bias
Meh, I still kinda regret having voted for her
I’d like that. If we’re to thrive, folk will have to learn to accept one another eventually
That would be so interesting. They’d have to automate almost everything.
Can they not be allowed to leave as well? I’d enjoy watching that petri dish. A billion dollars doesn’t mean much without disparity.
I get that folks are engaged for various reasons, but Wikipedia isn’t at it’s best when it comes to current events. I feel like that battle will slow as time passes.
Still - a big thank you to those who strive to combat misinformation.
*And you make a great point. Make the edits to Trump’s page after the dust settles and there is no argument about the facts.
