Sadly because it works, mobile gaming is bigger money-wise than PC and consoles combined, all because people are susceptible to short term dopamine hit your can buy any time, it’s a part of what we call enshittification, making the product less user friendly and make more money, shareholders are happy, your don’t have to
I used to use Spotify out of laziness, after a recent price hike I switched to local mp3 playback, I’m discovering music through radio, there’s always something playing at work, at home, in a car, trying to diversify stations I hear, sometimes social media pops a new song in my ear
It’s not just about that, people will be disabling the feature that is potentially beneficial to their security, disabling http downloads from http sites is just an extension of blocking http downloads from https sites
Another security feature added is the blocking of downloading files from URLs that are on lists of potentially dangerous content.
Yeah, I’m not sure blocking HTTP downloads by default is a good idea, I mean many offices probably have some internal legacy HTTP only sites that nobody dares to touch, that are perfectly safe being HTTP (if you have hackers inside your network a simple intranet site spoofing is your least problem), and disabling this security option might have a lot of wider repercussions
People say reptiles are tastier than chicken, the thing is chicken is mass produced at an industrial level, most of the reptiles are wild caught, maybe we should compare them to wild chicken or game bird, instead of store bought chicken, also it would differ wildly depending on type of dinosaur, it was a very diverse group
Lol, I remember -ac kernel, it has a modified I/O scheduler or something, also I remember using some guys kennel, he went silent one time, after some weeks the guy’s wife wrote on the forum he fell off the ladder, became a vegetable and soon died…
I’ve been seeing this surfacing a lot lately, two curious things:
#¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah, I was a Linux user at the time, I remember 2.4 to 2.6 kennel transition, it was a breath of fresh air, filesystem wars, some people liked xfs, others jfs, normies used ext3, reiser4 with all the shit they promised, like accessing mp3 on the filesystem level etc was mind-blowing, them he killed his wife…
Looks like they’re removing the toggle making it always enabled, probably because nobody used the phone mic while connected via Bluetooth
you sure you’ll get video calling that way?
Yeah, as far as I know it’s not some browser chauvinism, but Firefox not supporting some multimedia protocols, that doesn’t mean it’s Firefox fault though, I’d install some chrome fork just for this kind of interactions
They can be considered petty, fcking whres /s
Of course it is, it doesn’t support pop3, only IMAP through their server
It’s still a different vinegar, that shouldn’t be kept with food
I don’t think anybody keeps cleaning agents and food ingredients in the same place, I definitely don’t, don’t know anybody who does, so it’s logical to assume it should be the same in restaurants
I had COVID at the beginning of 2021, I’ve lost smell, even when I got out of it for a few months soft drinks like Coke, sprite or tonic tested like paint thinner, raw onion and my own sweat smelled like rotten eggs, fortunately after some time it stopped, drinks sooner than onion though
Just finished the new Riven remake, pretty cool game, now continuing High on Life, and Ghostwire Tokio
