Well then you need someone on the other side of the deal.

Honoring the good old tradition of calligraphy
If someone can tell me which direction to game specific communities i used to be part of (RimWorld, Souls games, Paradox games…) I’d be happy. Now I can only rely on discord.
And no, don’t tell me to create the community and content myself. The audience isn’t even high enough for discussing all games as a whole let alone specific games. This is what “let Lemmy stay small” crowd misses. Niche community can only be started as branch of (very) large community.
Well it’s not actually that bad of a deal to call football “soccer”. But what really grind gears is to associate football exclusively to “American football” which is what (American) internet do. Rage over “soccer” is just part of the backlash.
Anything that you want disappear will exist forever. Anything you want preserved will disappear tomorrow.
Nah, my win rate is objectively under 50%, and I’m already down to a level where it feels like the outcome of the battle is largely separated to what I’m actually doing any more in comparison to what teammates I get. By logic, I should finally get 50% win rate this time, but somehow it’s still not, wtf.
And of course I almost uninstall because of that, and at least already play much less than I could. They clearly already lose money from this, people I know mostly have already quit the game.
It’s always been ugly for me so I don’t see any difference. Although I agree that separating PM into its own tab is a good move.
Oh no, job providers who don’t want to be taken advantage of and know their worth, maybe people should value their job providers if you want their loyalty.
My time on Lemmy (and Reddit before) ironically make me appreciate communism less and less
And people wonder why companies dont train undergrads anymore
But then one person disagree with those rules and we’re back to no rules
And then you have those overemployed people
I learnt the rule of the game solely from this https://www.bigfishgames.com/us/en/games/1021/casinoislandtogo . Maybe not exhaustive but it teaches me that it’s one of the game that really doesn’t make any sense without betting.
It uses too much ram and causes too many problems with real vm for me. Overall, a pain in the ass
Don’t worry OP. My observation of people who eventually stopped playing those games and instead just watch the story on YouTube validates your experience. Some games are worth less than their let’s plays.
branching narratives
Lots of “plot only” games I see start to eschew even that and have tons of fake choices lmao, making it even movie-er.
I don’t find nano any easier for minor tweaks than vim
In mobile I unironically turns off the volume while ad is playing. Also minimize the video.
Or use vanced.
Sometimes i prefer saying f**k because it feels fucking nastier
When it starts going meta it’s doomed to die soon. I heard that’s why xkcd avoids ever talking about xkcd itself
