Make a file named just a bunch of spaces with double quotes around them. It’s made confusing because of the 4 double quotes, two are escaped by the backslashes immediately before them.

Grandma adopted a puppy when I was probably 8 or 9. It got parvo. I remember going to her house and asking where the puppy was. She told me that he was sick, so he had to stay outside and I couldn’t go outside for the same reason. When I would ask where the puppy is, she would tell me that he’s on the side of the house where I couldn’t see him. This went on for a long time, I never saw the puppy again and eventually forgot about it entirely.
A decade or two later I found out that my grandma had spent thousands of dollars trying to keep that puppy alive, but parvo took it anyways. She was very upset about it’s passing and instead of having me go through it too, she lied to me about it until I completely forgot about it.
Yeah, I’m not installing DRM to watch anything on any service. I’ll pirate, thanks very much.
Ah, yes, not 100% of the time. You know, like Windows. Thanks for the laugh.
We dress our skeleton up as Santa for Christmas. Looks great with the glowing red eyes.
I’m interested in new distributions, but it really needs to do something new. Different default packages with a handful of custom things on top of an existing distro just doesn’t cut it. Give me a NixOS, Puppy Linux, ReactOS(I know it’s not a distro) or something else unique. I’m tired of Debian/Ubuntu based distros, if I wanted Debian or Ubuntu, I would use them.
Hmm. The McDonalds in my town had a small fire in the kitchen in 2020. It has been surrounded by “Reopening soon” signs since then. Color me sceptical.
Commission is wrapped up in the sale price, not a separate payment to the employee that I decided upon. The company takes payment and then they pay the employee. This also makes sure the employee is not getting stiffed.
Yes. It’s extremely common to have some device that asks you how much you want to tip before you can complete the transaction. They are nearly always placed in a spot and angled so the employees can see it too, guilting customers in to tipping.
NixOS and Debian. Probably just NixOS in the near future.
Pretty much just communication and occasionally looking up some info. I save gaming and everything else for the computer. Phones are portable, but they are pretty awful for anything beyond the basics. Plus, if I’m out and about, I want to be there, not on my phone.

Companies usually have some metrics they use to determine if employees are meeting their requirements and these same metrics can be used for remote employees. The problem is, they can’t wring you out for extra work. Looking busy at work is important because if you complete all your tasks 100%, management will just give you more work. At home, you can complete your work in 1 hour and then spend the rest of your time for leisure. This terrifies management, because looking over your shoulder and squeezing you for extra work without more pay is the only real value they bring to the company.
People let them get the tip in, is it any surprise that they are going balls deep now?
It’s not that they can’t, its that they won’t.
Yeah, but the noodles are made of sliced silicone and the tomato sauce is red paint. It looks good from a far, but it’s actually wrong.
I suggest anyone considering LXD also give nspawn a look. May or may not suit your needs better.
Excuse for horrible actions.
Eh, there’s always something new to learn. New distros, new programs, new ways of doing things. I think the latter happens from stagnation. Search out the new and interesting and you can always be an explorer.
I hit the same wall with Dvorak layout.
