If Apple had kept the 3.5mm port, we’d all probably still be having it on our phones and not have to deal with flimsy adapters.
Bazzite has been smooth sailing about 80% of the time for me. The rest of the 20% were due to either plasma or runner crashing, requiring me to perform a hard reset using the power button. And then it magically atarted working again. I’ve also had my home folder become read-only on occasion. Very strange.
And most other manufacturers too for following the stupid decision to remove the headphone jack.
Was trying to get corectrl configured and I was blindly copying text to paste into config files.
Next thing I know, I can’t get my system to boot up again. 🤣
Time to reinstall. Again. 😅
If a problem is fixable, if a situation is such that you can do something about it, then there is no need to worry. If it’s not fixable, then there is no help in worrying. There is no benefit in worrying whatsoever.
I would offer a suggestion “it’s not that I have nothing to hide; it’s that i have nothing i want you or anyone else to see”.
Both may sound similar but in reality quite diffierent.
If this post gets 666 upvotes hell will definitely break loose lol
I use GPS Logger as well. Everything is saved locally in a kml file. The trick is to find an optimal settings which gives you enough data points but doesn’t kill your batteey in the process.
Might be easier to start with something “simpler” like the ECU or infotainment unit.
Leon, the URL cleaner. Use it to remove tracking links either before opening them or before sharing them.
Never tried any of the Ultima series. :p
Origin “We create worlds”. They definitely did with the Wing Commander series. Played a lot of WC 3, 4 as well as Privateer.
I don’t think anyone mentioned Lionhead Studios. Black and White was fun. Sadly it’s in copyright limbo if I’m not mistaken.
Also played a lot of Civilization 1 from Microprose back in the day.
I did not try replicating this behavior with a Windows install on my desktop. I did however perform a fresh install of Fedora 39 and that appeared to have fixed the issue, which is good news.
So I decided to bite the bullet and did a fresh install of Fedora 39 and that appeared to have made the issue go away. In the process of installing updates and configuring it the way I like, the monitor control buttons on both monitors response. So, it seems like the cause of the issue could have been a glitch during an update. Who knows? At least I know that it’s not a hardware issue (cross finders). :)
Agreed 100%.
Before I got my noise cancelling headphones, I was very aware of the volume that I have set when trying to watch a movie in a plane. After I got the noise cancelling headphones, I no longer have to set it that loud anymore.
That said, some airlines need to relook their volumes of their PA system. Some of them are shockingly louder than necessary. Lol
Drivers for the Tobii eye tracker do not officially exist.
The monitor with this “unresponsive button” issue is the Acer monitor, which is about 2 years old.
Very interesting. The Asus monitor is probably only 2 years old. It does work fine standalone with a spare laptop of mine that is running Windows 10 though.
Back to the Future.
A normal Doc Brown wouldn’t have invented a time machine.
