That would give apple a monopoly in the mobile space and Microsoft a monopoly in the search/business app space.

On iPhone, maybe Android too, you click the power button 5 times and you have enter the pin.
I do get sub 1000 view recommendations from YouTube but I don’t know if I would assume those creators haven’t paid any money. You can pay to push your videos to a small, very targeted, audience for fairly cheap.
There’s still plenty of people doing that. But their uploads will be inconsistent when they upload and quality. The views will also be low so YouTube’s algorithm won’t recommend it unless they pay to advertise.
This absolutely killed me for summer break during school.
I agree that they are a waste for most people. I have friends that have used theirs near daily going on 20 years.
Some of the best movies/TV I’ve seen have come out in the last 10 years. I’ve watched a lot of movies and TV too. So I always find these takes funny because y’all are ignoring the 80% shit that came out in decades past like they don’t count but the 80% shit that comes out now counts more.
Seeing that many tabs gives me actual anxiety.
Yeesh, I’m trying to relax not be attacked.
Cause they know the policies are cruel and doing cruel things is easier when others buy in.
Due to how I look and where I work, conservatives constantly assume I am one too. I used to discuss/debate them about their views. I gave that up. Now I just say I disagree so that even if they tell others that everyone that talk to agrees with them, somewhere in the back of the their mind they know that’s not true.
Let this be a lesson to ya, don’t be a never post.
I have premium so maybe that’s a reason. Also, if I watch a video I know YouTube will latch unto them I remove it from my watch history and heavily use not interested option.
I too ignore shorts but I disagree with YouTube’s recommendations. It has gotten significantly better from even 2 years ago. I used to only watch my subscriptions, what I specifically sought out, or links from others. What YouTube recommended me was honestly confusing considering the amount of data they have on me and my interests. Now it’ll actually recommend general content I would watch. But also small YouTubers from the types of content I consistently watch. It’s pretty great.
It absolutely has and I fucking hate it.
This is kind of surprising just because Google has gotten so much worse the last couple of years.
Yes, probably about 5 times over 20 years and 100s of attempts. I usually try it when annoyed and want to see Windows fail.
Loki season 2 was peak of all marvel and it’s not even close for me.
I completely understand and I kind of agree that it’s low effort. However, my experience was that my “high effort messages” received maybe a 1/10th of the responses that got with hey. And then if factor in how many less people I was messaging because I was tailoring it then the amount of interested responses was significantly less.
Again, if it’s an app like tinder where you both have to show interest then I wouldn’t start with hey. Otherwise I view it as just showing interest and then if they respond then I can follow it up with something from their profile.
But I’ve been out of that scene for a decade so I have to imagine with enshitification that online dating is now even worse.
Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush, off the top of my head.
