Good changes all around, the torches are way more useful than they used to be.

• 100+ new weapons

• There’s new types of progression where you can find items that make you stronger but only in the DLC.

• The first area of the DLC is as big as Limgrave

• People got to see the first 2 legacy dungeons, say they’re really good and there’s lots of secrets.

• The consensus is that it’s more Elden Ring. Overall people are stoked.

If you haven’t already played it, DOOM: The Golden Souls is probably the best total conversion you can find. Just S tier all around. Adventures of Square is also pretty good despite looking a bit simple.

If you’re looking for free games in general, might I recommend Megaman Maker? There’s an absolutely insane amount of content, and the level editor itself is very fun to use.

It was definitely a product of its time, but it paved the way to what we have now. It’s important to note the N64 was the first console to have an analog stick, so nobody really knew where to place it. They put it in the middle since it was something extra not all games would use.

That said, the hardware limitations didn’t matter that much as long as the games were stellar. Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time are maybe the most influential games of all time, up there with Doom and Quake.

This is me. I often subscribe when there’s a discount, go through some games I’m not interested in buying but want to play anyways. Xbox game pass specifically has a lot of great indies that can be finished relatively quickly.

Can confirm, my friend worked as a cook for 2 different places (not fast food, local restaurants) for a while because he needed money in college. He told me it’s the most stressful job he’s experienced and the pay wasn’t worth the effort. Nobody in the kitchen wanted to be there, in prime hours there are so many orders that they can’t help but rush everything while shouting to each other.

I can imagine how tedious that job is, having to make the same food for months except you’re always time pressured and told to do it faster. Working as a waiter or cashier is way simpler and I imagine the pay difference isn’t massive.

How is it? I heard the VCS was kind of a trainwreck.

Be aware OP that local LLMs are quite a bit worse than what’s available online. Llama 3 is (probably?) the best one available now and even that has a habit of being very stupid sometimes compared to claude or chatgpt.
