Where I live, it’s currently $4Cdn for a loaf of basic white Wonder bread, it’s $8.50Cdn for a stick of salted butter, and $5.50Cdn for a pack of 22 slices of processed cheese (not the thick slice type). My country is currently going through a bit of a cost of living crisis because shelter, heating, food costs are becoming insane. How much are those things where you live? I think it’s interesting the differences based on where we all are. 1$ for an entire grilled cheese sandwich in Canada would be considered an incredible deal for takeout food pricing.
Why are you clicking and opening people’s image or video files even if they’re right on their desktop? I doubt that’s part of the repair troubleshooting you are supposed to be doing. You shouldn’t be clicking on their images or videos even if they are easily accessible.
It might be impossible where you are from (because it’s better implemented or controlled there, I don’t know) but in Canada our health care has turned to shit (our healthcare system was struggling pre-pandemic and is now even worse). There were instances of First Nation mothers being forced or strongly encouraged immediately after giving birth (when they aren’t of sound mind) to be sterilized. If something as horrendous as that can happen, it’s not much of a stretch to believe that bad acting health care workers might try to force people who are vulnerable to agree to euthanasia.

I got a fish bone stuck in my throat when I was a kid. My mother tried pulling it out with her fingers, tried pliers, and when that wasn’t working, she then called the hospital (back when you were allowed to do that, now we have to call Telehealth). The person who she spoke to told her to make some well done toast and have me eat it. Worked perfectly. The toast, once chewed, wraps around the bone and gums it up so it passes through your digestive system.
Yeah, plants aren’t stationary. All plants move, just very, very slowly compared to animals. Looking at time lapse videos of vines growing, reaching out for something to grab on to and stuff is pretty neat. They kind of whip around in circles until they feel they’ve hit something worth grabbing onto.
