+1 here. It’s been pretty much set up and forget it.

Solid dark gray color or occasionally one of my personal photos. They need to be dark and not busy for me to not go crazy.
Maybe a dashboard might help? Gethomepage.dev works really well for me.
Custom molded earplugs. As a musician and photographer who shoots bands, I can’t imagine NOT having them.
I’ve had ATT prepaid for me and the other 3 in my family and with all of us it’s about $100/month. We don’t need unlimited since everyone is almost always connected to wifi. Also they roll over unused data up to 30gb. The wife and I have 25gb plans and the kids have 5gb plans and we can use those for tethering too. Been on it for over 4 years now…
What are you using for all of the stats/info?
Ya it’s hard to complain about it. I have just the plain iPad, and I just looked more closely and it’s the 9th gen 10.2". Happy to help!
I’ve had really good luck with my iPad 7th gen and https://songbook-pro.com/. At this point i have about 2000 songs in there and it works perfectly. And I gig with it 2-3 times per week. They do have an Android version but I’ve never used it. I’m sure it works the same.
Thank you I will read through them.
Can you elaborate on the harvesting of data? I haven’t heard that part before and would like to learn more.
I’m currently using gethomepage.dev but have also had really good luck with dashy.to
Oops, I meant ublock origin. I apparently can’t do two things at once. ha
Adguard home for everyone in the house. Externally I just use ublock Origin and Cloudflare’s DoH.
I use XnviewMP for different things. It has a ton of functionality and they have other products as well that might help. https://www.xnview.com
I haven’t in the past but it may be something that I move to someday.
Ah ok. Thanks for the heads up, i’ll look in to this.
I have PIA also and am curious what others suggest. Can I ask why you’re wanting to switch from them b/c I may need to move on too. Thanks!
Dropbox website has a special folder you can create as a temporary upload space for anyone with the link.
Ah interesting. Ya I don’t have very many other networks to compete against so I have no experience with that.
I’m running their docker and it works pretty well. Never have to touch it except for updates.
