  • The White House is finalizing plans for a U.S.-Mexico border clampdown that would shut off asylum requests and automatically deny entrance to migrants once the number of people encountered by American border officials exceeded a new daily threshold, with President Joe Biden expected to sign an executive order as early as Tuesday, according to four people familiar with the matter.

The president has been weighing additional executive action since the collapse of a bipartisan border bill earlier this year.

The Biden administration has grown ever more conservative on border issues as the president faces ceaseless criticism from Republicans and there are large numbers of migrants crossing into the U.S. from Mexico who are not easily returned, especially as global displacement grows from war, climate change and more.

sounds like a right leaning conservative to me

what about additional executive action on anything else like women’s rights, minimum wage, or anything that could count toward the human good

  • not to mention insurance costs and taxes

used vehicles cost nearly same in most cases and in poor condition

yes let us blame trucks not the $7.50 minimum wage and the inflation and what have yous

biden and electric vehicle are not the jesus of our times

going to take a lot to make travel affordable again and on that note the more traveling costs the less people do it and the less they travel the more stuck in the state they are at they become

way more than prohibitively expensive vehicles here this is a means to keep citizens in place and poor

  • if Trump wins the corps also win and the people lose

if Biden wins the corps also win and the people lose

did either of these two put up a fight for worker’s rights and higher wages?

did either stand up for women’s rights or bodily autonomy?

did either stand up and defend journalist being silenced?

did either do anything to quell the militarized police force?

did either help Captain Planet at all with restoring Mother Earth?

did either candidate do anything to protest against the size of the military budget?

what did either candidate do that directly makes the citizens better off?

    where is the difference?
