Last week, Kyle quit the band…
Thanks for the rec! Typing on it now. Pretty decent so far. I dig the hover on the word as i swipe
Also posting from a Pixel 7 running Graphene for abouta year. No issues, I use Fdroid for most apps and Aurora when I have too. Only bummer is I haven’t found a good FOSS keyboard with swipe. Really miss gboard for that and gif insertion.
There’s always one!
Must of been how they used the little red nub.
On the bright side, I don’t think we’ll have to buy them again. We can play them with a Exclusivity Plus Ultra Platinum Day 0 Premium++ with Squenix 385/2 Materia Edition Subscription™️ for only $50 a month!
This is 100% the dystopian reality we are heading for. Maybe not in the near-term future but, there is no way that eventually corporate greed and shareholder gains won’t reach a point that this has to become the reality. They are simply leaving too much money on the table by not doing it.
I think our only saving grace is that the laws haven’t been defined enough yet to prevent this from happening. But I have to imagine to some degree it already is. Just look at the way driving telemetry is being sold to auto insurance providers in the States already. If the information is out there, someone will get their hands in it and use it to manipulate the price of something.
Likely because a large portion of the people who are employed at these venues are, generally speaking, more vulnerable and susceptible to abusive cycles and behaviors.
I have known and been friends with a few people in the sex work trade throughout the years and generally they didn’t end up there because they came from solid foundational bedrocks of self-care and self-advocacy growing up.
Of course, that’s not to say that my anecdotal experience is empirical, but I’d wager reality sways a little closer to what I’ve seen than the opposite.
Slashers (2001) is a fairly unknown horror / comedy from the heyday of video stores. I rented it on a marathon weekend with my old movie crew and it instantly became a favorite. The “Slashers, super-fun!!” theme song is likely problematic at this point but I still find myself and the few remaining folks from that crew saying it at random when we get together.
Outside of that group though, I’ve never met another human that’s seen it. Albeit I’m not usually proselytizing about it like a weirdo… usually. Maybe at next year’s horror-con I’ll start.
I remember coming across Mad Dog at a few arcades growing up (80’s kid). It had a great attract screen where McCree would taunt you if I recall properly. Thanks for the flashback. There was one or two other games like this. Also, the Sega holographic cube game was pretty legit looking but played like shit. It also used live video on a weird 3d plane.
I am constantly evangelizing Kagi to all my tech friends. Thankfully I don’t use mint or do CrossFit otherwise I’d be 3 for 3 and lonely. That said, it is really nice to have actual search results again. I toggle over to DDG when I have more ad based results in mind but avoid Google Search at all costs.
Just what I needed right before bed.
Got em
Been using WuTangLan for quite awhile. When I started splitting 5ghz and 2.4, we added MyWiFiFu.
Seeking out new songs was one of my favorite parts of Saints Row! Absolutely agree.
I’m now shitting in my bathtub…
Same here my friend! They nailed the name.
hell no! why do something pro consumer when you can just raise prices
