The G14 is 14 inch and has a dedicated GPU, so without one the cooling requirements are far less.

I have a 2021 Asus Zephyrus G14 unless I run a game, that thing is running without active cooling. Seems like a solved problem.
One day we’ll get VLC 4.
Hopefully not. They wanna turn VLC into Kodi but Kodi already exists.
How is 60 dollars not bad for what a slightly better USB C cable could also do if Sony had cared to develop a proper firmware update?
I dislike using a slur for disabled people as the name but it’s only partially why I stopped using it. Bad cross-platform support, sticking to ancient GTK versions, GNOME-fication of the upcoming 3.0 version, etc. also pushed me away.
What, are they just supposed to wait until September/October, just for the benefit of Canonical? Fuck no.
Or Nvidia could just release non-broken drivers. The fault is buggy/incomplete Wayland support in the NVidia driver.
I only found RustDesk recently and it’s awesome.
Some information in the documents appears to be in conflict with public statements by Google representatives
I would have never guessed that.
Do you think Valve is going to start deleting accounts over 100 years old?
If Valve actually counted how old my account is, they’d stop asking me how old I am for mature games.
Ever since KDE made their software more modular with Plasma 5 / Frameworks 5, a Plasma session can be cut down by a lot. Personally, I don’t think it matters much because as soon as you browse the web, the RAM demands of the web browser dwarf that of even a fully decked out desktop anyway, but the options are there – perhaps for certain use cases that don’t involve web browsing.
It’s a shame that male birth control has been so much more difficult to develop
Nah, condoms exist since ages and has many other benefits.
Steam itself isn’t that special and things like Heroic exist but where Steam wins is the ecosystem. Also Valve sponsor developments of Linux desktop technologies, so even if Steam itself is proprietary, some of the money ends up advancing open source.
What are some reasons as to why I would want to use this over, say, OSMAnd?
Osmand isn’t fully free software. Some parts are under CC Non-Commercial license that forbids derivatives to make life harder for potential forks: https://github.com/osmandapp/OsmAnd/blob/master/LICENSE#L39 That’s both against the Open Source Definition and Free Software.
Chinese spies like this trick.
What way do you imagine would be more precise?
Unavoidable analytics, apparently. Yay?
Would be more if the community creator were to post content instead of just hogging the community name. It’s what I do with my community.
21 subscribers, zero activity. I don’t get such communities. Not even the mod posts anything.
I know it’s not the answer you’re looking for but IMO you should consider selling the device and getting a (perhaps used, depending on personal situation) Pixel a-series device instead. If you’re using some brute force method, you may be ending up with a bricked device.
