The product manager who led that team probably got a nice bonus for increasing engagement
Man, Doordash has become just as bad for customers as it has for drivers. It really has become the mcdonalds of delivery services.
I left doordash when they started asking me if I wanted to return a package every time I wanted to eat. Fuck doordash. Just give me food. I don’t want to buy flowers from California.
UberEats sucks too because it will put restaurants 15 miles away in your restaurant list. No, dude, I’m not going to ask a driver to sit in traffic for an hour just to get a hamburger.
GrubHub is the last bastion of hope. 🙏
GrubHub is the last bastion of hope.
They treat their drivers well too. I’ve worked for them for like 6 months now and have had zero complaints in the way they treat/pay me. They are more lenient on us as well. Understanding of mistakes as long as it isn’t a constant thing. They reward us after X amount of deliveries as well. (Monetary reward, not like a pin or some crap.)
Their order managing system is also wonderful and I can work for hours never having to wait on orders to come in. They keep you going and busy.
By comparison, I worked for Doordash for the same duration and now no longer do business with them for any reason. Neither as a customer or contractor.
NOTE: I am no shill. Just someone who is actually happy.
Thanks for sharing, that makes me feel better about my decision to use them over other apps. Glad you’re happy 😊
One weird thing they did recently though was they gave 3 free months of amazon prime. When you went over to accept the prime offer, it gave drivers 1 year of Grubhub’s premium service free. So I can order delivery free too. Was pretty neat.
Haha hell yeah, weird but no complaints I suppose
Skip the dishes is what I use. They might just be in Canada though.
At least it’s not yelp, where the first 2 pages of scrolling are unrelated sponsored business or reviews for unrelated business
Do people even use yelp anymore? I legitimately haven’t seen a yelp review in years, and even if I did, it would be meaningless.
