Even ones that actively celebrate rape and murder? Even ones that will oppress women?

Does this even count as a ‘progressive’ movement if it institutes an intensely religious dictatorship?

That is your narrow IdPol view. Not mine. Israel celebrates Rape and Murder, keyword: Genocide of Millions of Palestinians. The Palestinian movement is largely secular.

The Palestinian movement is largely secular.

Hamas only exists because the Abbas-led PLO was “too secular” - which in their original charter they blamed on a worldwide Jewish conspiracy to infiltrate schools and promote secularism.

Hamas wants an Islamic caliphate, as they directly mention in both charters.

2,000 homosexual refugees live in Tel Aviv at any given time, fleeing persecution in Gaza.

And kind of irrelevant but extra funny, the “Gays for Palestine” group in the UK was attacked by Hamas-supporting protestors at the recent protest.

It’s well known that Netanyahu wanted the secular faction weakened and had funded Hamas to do it. The Mossad also begged Qatar to fund Hamas.

Yes Netanyahu did indeed make a bad choice

That’s neither here nor there tho.
