It doesn’t make a ton of sense for non-students to protest at a university. What are impeding? Students and professors who probably already side with you from going to class?

Universities are for meeting, rallying and handing out pamphlets. Actually protesting there will have no effect on the general populace of aside from creating a very strong suspicion of straw man tactics.

Creating a “you’re either Pro Israel or Pro genocide argument” with the liberal youth is good way to get many of them to either not vote or to not vote Biden. I strongly suspect that’s what’s happening here.

Maybe Iran promised more support? I don’t know but I do know that, after seeing the videos I saw, I would not count on Israel stopping the onslaught until every Palestinian in Gaza is either dead or gone.

To most of us it looks like Hamas wrote check they can’t cash. They had to know this would happen. Right?

I think as long as there are two parties, elections in America will always be close. Add gerrymandering and violently polarizing rhetoric into the mix and you have our current situation. In regards to a solution, I don’t think there is one. America is a country founded on an unwavering belief in individualism. We often overlook the obviously correct decision instead deciding to take the “road less traveled” even if it makes zero sense to do so. Anything to be different! Americans also love to gamble and we view the obvious decision as having worse odds.

This is the death rattle of the most entitled, largest, generation in America. They do not care where America will be in 10 years because they won’t be alive and they think it’s hilarious. It’s a geriatric tantrum.

What makes this time in America’s history so terrifying is that the difference between Democrat and Republican has only been greater one other time and it resulted in a civil war. You can’t say “both sides are evil” because it’s not even close. Democrats haven’t really changed and that’s not the progress they claim to represent. However Republicans have abandoned the concept of the US as a whole and are actively attempting to corrupt our voting and end democracy state by state. Republicans are so close to crossing a line that cannot be uncrossed and it will result, at best, in states operating as independent nations. In other words, a fucking disaster.

There is only one “evil” side right now.
