Thank you, that’s wild!
This image is disturbing… I can’t wait to send it to my kids!
It takes a ton of bravery to be a whistle blower when others aren’t dying like 80 year old diabetes patients. It’ll take even more now, and I hope there are more. Boeing needs to be kicked in the bags.
Turning good food into poop.
Don’t be fooled by randomness. Randomness comes in clumps. For example if you flipped a thousand coins every day for a year and measured how each one predicted the stock market, heads for up, tails for down, at the end of the year you’ll likely have one coin that far out performs the average. But would you use that coin to determine your investment strategy the next year?
And yeah Boeing is now killing people outside of their planes.
That’s two votes to one, I’ll let my wife know she’s been out voted. I’m sure she’ll go along with the decision peacefully…!?
Works great for me, never had an issue. I use it for AI generated images regularly on my laptop and desktop.
My unsung hero is my son, he’s also ADHD and seeing how hard he works and how positive he is is great. He took 3 years off from high school to college to focus on getting ahead of his ADHDness and is now back in college and doing well. I wish I was as cool as him!
Oh yeah no doubt, you’d have to just burn everything they touched and buy all new!
I wish you a germ free existence my friend!
Yeah not for everyone for sure. Based on wage per hour which isn’t really real, it costs us more to do the laundry than to pay to get it done. Same reason we have someone clean our house every few weeks and care for our lawn.
I know this isn’t within the means of everyone, but have your clothes laundered. Finally convinced my wife to let us do this and it’s fantastic! About $45 a week for the two of us. We’re mostly empty nesters.
I cheat and drive to Microcenter. It’s about an hour south and worth it.
They sell online and I’d try that if I lived too far away to drive.
Clever! I missed that.
And we’re still trying to eliminate fax as a channel we take orders in. We made a big dent a few years ago but we still get a handful a week.
Fucking damnit to hell! 😂
One I don’t see here that we follow, if we didn’t absolutely need it yesterday we don’t want it today. Keeps us from buying things that seem like a good idea for aren’t really solving a problem for us.
Edit: Here’s another one. Buy cars for cash instead of a loan. Here’s how we do it: We save about ~$400 a month to buy a car, in a year we buy a ~$5000 car. We do it again and then sell that first car for about what we bought it for and put the new ~$5000 towards it.
Right now my wife drives a 2023 Ioniq 5 and I drive a 2014 Z51 Corvette with no payments. To be fair we’ve been doing this for a long time and we no longer do yearly upgrades. Last time was 5 years between upgrades and this time we think it’ll be 10 years between upgrades.
I’m sorry it worked out that way for you. Sucks seeing hard working people get screwed over…
And that’s a good point and not one I considered. With how financially savvy I wasn’t I wouldn’t have even seen it coming.
When I was in my 20s a guy wanted me to maintain his website that sold do l delivery service of food to college kids and it would have been my first paying gig doing it but he wanted to pay me in “equity” which at the time translated into he wanted free labor and I ghosted him.
About 10 years ago he sold his company to Grub Hub for a few hundred million. Fucked that one up.
I’m still on the couch, slightly further away from my wife.
This is what I thought was going to happen at the end of 2 and was so excited I had to watch 3 right away. I was disappointed.
