I’m in the slow process of replacing devices with HTPCs then I won’t need to cast anything. Unfortunately computers and time don’t grow on trees.

It’s not that the site doesn’t work in FF, it’s that casting the stream from that site to a remote TV in the house is only possible in chromium, at least with my current device setup. If I just watch on my computer, I watch in FF.
I have chromium installed for the sole reason to cast some streams to my remote TVs. Otherwise it stays closed. I tried some work around with FF, but I couldn’t get it to work. It’s only once or twice a week for live sporting events, so I can stomach it.
Came for the headline, stayed for the picture, and really enjoyed the article. Well done The Onion.
A rollercoaster. It was dropping until the cheese thing, which I think is just normal, unspoken behavior. Sounds to me like a bout of depression, or at least what I think is depression. I 100% get the same lethargy to life, and it tends to come in waves.
If you haven’t, I’d look at having a chat with a professional. I’m not a good role model for this, but I have pushed through the lulls more times than I care to admit, and it gets tougher every year. The negative thoughts set in and create this negative feedback loop that makes functioning difficult, and digs a hole that’s hard to climb out of.
Anecdotally, if this is new to you, it doesn’t make for a happy life. I’m working to get help, but there are roadblocks. I would encourage you to try the same. If it doesn’t help, then you can cross that bridge later. If it does, then you’ll be in a much better place and the light will shine again.
…or the Internet really is just shitty.
Starting ones self on fire is a suicide attempt, regardless of political motive. This isn’t the same as sky diving or even trying to see the Titanic in a carbon fiber pod, this is pure and simple, self immolation to death that failed, so far.
They were suicidal, and now they’re trapped.
Sounds like they are advertising a paid option.
So Canada fucked up them remedied the situation. What’s this have to do with the post?
Imagine being so insecure that you need someone to literally hide every aspect of their being so that you don’t get aroused and can’t control yourself. Fucking weak-willed cowards.
I grew up in rural Iowa. We didn’t have a fancy side of town.
Neither tall basketball players or high jumpers actively have someone actively trying to stab them in their larger mass sections. It would be better to compare with baseball where the strike zone can change depending on height. There are some good pictures of Jose Altuve standing next to Aaron judge in the MLB. Basically, tall people have a larger attack vector, and that doesn’t apply in the two sports you mentioned, where more height definitely carries significantly more advantages than disadvantages.
So two of the most popular if not the top two most used Linux distros, are bad and not fine? Odd that such a large amount of users would continue to use something so unstable. Maybe it wasn’t the distro’s fault?
There are tons of small devices that don’t have to be connected to be useful. Lots of personal items or small sensors.
This is a tough area for me. I think someone should be able to make a living researching and creating drugs. If that’s all a company does they have to make money somehow. Admittedly, I have not put much thought past that, so there may be a simple solution. Research grants and other funding can pay salaries for a time, but that’s a static income. Idk, I’m interested in how this would work without some amount of markup.
Unless profits means everything past salaries and stuff, then I do mostly agree. However I think there has to be allowance for cash on hand and further investment in infrastructure and all those other fun things needed to run and grow a business.
This is the reason I hate when people use the “recoup” argument. If anyone takes any free money to do research, then that isn’t an expense to that company. If I start my own thing, and use my own money to cure cancer, then I get to set the price to recoup my own losses. If the citizens paid for it through taxes or donations, then it should be cost + % profit. 30% is very fair.
I’m saying that picking android to flash a custom ROM is still picking a side. It’s a valid answer to the original question. I was just being cheeky.
Who’s phone did you buy and what stock OS was on it?
You chose.
No, it’s objectively a bad watch with a dumb premise. Read the big comment on here if you want a quick summary for why this is getting shit on. Or watch it yourself and formulate a real opinion instead of just blasphemy.
Was the Segway guy as shitty as musk?
