Portland airport parking garage has these lights at each spot, along with a digital sign at the start of each level telling you the number of open standard spots and handicap spots on that level

I for one welcome the news spicing up weather forecasts with catchy yet threatening labels. We’ve gone from atmospheric rivers to heat domes. Maybe this is what’s needed to get people to consider climate action. They’ll be movie titles soon enough.
Who are you so wise in the ways of science?
Here’s dash cam from the car. Nothing graphic, but remember it resulted in death (around 4:25): https://youtu.be/Z24tT8FR_R8?si=ZUfiQy3X4EE7lfWn
If he was trying to cut the kid off, he is God damned terrible at driving. He was trying to be “bad ass” and knock the kid over. He REFUSES to say over radio what happened (at least in the time I watched).
I’m so grossed out that they’re not charging the officer, but still charging the driver of the stolen car, who was long gone at that point, for causing vehicular death.
I’d wager that most school districts in the US have significantly more money spent on transportation than in other countries as well
Almost first black astronaut reaches almost space!
also, the article is a great read! Sounds like an awesome guy with a cool story
Ubuntu was my training wheels 15 years ago
If she abandons the house and kids, it reflects poorly when custody, alimony, the house, etc are heard
This happened in 2022.
A government investigation released its report at the end of January this year. The families of the victims, as well as the survivor, praised the report and the commission’s recommendation of charges for Corporate Manslaughter They are begging the government to take action. This was the latest info I could find.
The report squarely blames Paria (and names one person in particular) for blocking rescue attempts by the diving company and ignoring expert divers to whom they had access.
The survivor, Chris, doesn’t think any charges will happen, has a fear of diving now, and has nightmares of the voices in the pipe.
I quit drugs!
–Nice!
By joining this hate cult!
–…Oh.
Makes me morbidly wonder if they’re sitting on a folder full of celebrity death articles.
This article is so entitled
But there was a level entry form. So he entered it, but then disqualified it? Or someone else entered it on his behalf?
This is why I asked, I wasn’t sure what exactly happened. I read multiple other articles (I didn’t come up with using ‘faked’ to describe it). There’s a difference using TAS vs using TAS but letting everyone believe that you didn’t for 6 years.
THH was gaming news for two weeks before he came clean. If he hadn’t heard the news, he still should be way more apologetic to all the people who wasted their time
“More and more people were uploading evidence that I faked it, so I finally confessed. But only after people wasted countless hours of their lives trying to beat it. I was gunna tell everyone I swearsies, but only after I got attention. It happened so quickly, only 2 weeks after 6 years that I could have said something. I’m so nice, I could have uploaded another one I faked, but I didn’t!”
I don’t understand why this guy is getting a pass by so many people. “I will not deny team 0% their victory” what kind of egotistic statement is that? Am I understanding that he entered it into a competition, too?
I do get that more energy should be spent celebrating Team 0%, but the fake level guy is mentioned in all those same articles as “congratulating team 0%” as if his thumbs up means fuck all. Hacking is fun and funny, but absolutely not if it is to the detriment of other users.
I feel like 10 years ago, people would be reprimanded for getting caught posting reprehensible shit in uniform
In honesty, many of the changes announced seem to remove redundancies
Google usually replaces something well built out with someone very incomplete.
Maybe their game here is to trim it to hell so Bard doesn’t look so comparatively incomplete?
I totally rewear over wear! But I have to space it out lest I feel judged. But I mean they were same exact outfit every single day. Seemed nice
The HBO show Deadwood frequently depicted the 1870s old West characters stripping to their underwear, tossing their clothes on a chair, t then waking up the next day and putting them back on.
The whole time I’m thinking man, our society has this all wrong
How about deep diving? It’s not easy and consistent with one app, but it’s pretty satisfying to be the one figuring stuff out.
Or local city planning. Future plans on what to build and where. Doesn’t update as frequently, but it’s something to circle back to on occasion, or you might want to get involved and go to a meeting.
Some people like to listen to police scanners, or alternatively there is usually someone with a social media account who posts just the most important or funniest transmissions from the city/county/whatever
Or you could get an idle game app that you occasionally need to pop into to collect money and upgrade.
