Did they at least ask before dismembering then?
“May we have your liver?”
“Might as well throw in the intestines, liver, brain and pancreas while you’re at it”

Android or some other Linux based os on iPhone hardware anyone?
The question is, what brand? Duracell?, Eveready?, Energizer?
Oh my pkcell…
Nor the cash to increase the bandwidth capacity to do so.
At one point it was the top dog - this was before google was even in the browser market mind you. Then they entered and used a lot of… Shall we say interesting marketing practices to usurp firefoxes dominant position - it wasn’t all due to chrome being better.
If you’re the only one who has that issue, or it’s very uncommon, then it’s more likely a software or hardware configuration issue or some corruption on your systems part.
Just saying this, when I used to run windows, weird bugs like that as a cue to do a complete reinstall of windows. Usually would fix every problem I’d been having with every app to date.
Even now deleting everything associated to Firefox and reinstalling the app would probably fix it. The other thing to do is to keep an eye on the behaviour of your browser after installing extensions. Sometimes extensions themselves can cause weird problems.
I think he always believed his own hype. Heck there was a point where I was somewhat into his hype.
Though I never liked Tesla’s interior design philosophy of “just put all the controls on a giant tablet and call it a day”
Truth is we didn’t know enough about him to gain an opinion. So imaginations ran wild. I mean there are people who have been saying how bad he was since the whole PayPal thing. It’s just those companies weren’t big enough at the time for it to gain any gravity in the public eye.
Then Tesla and spaceX happened, and people thought what he was doing was awesome, because a lot of it was and it was easy to look past the parts that weren’t.
Now however the fact he can’t keep his mouth shut and has become a twitter addict has kinda ruined our public opinion on him. If he had just stayed quiet and not bothered with the whole buying twitter thing, people might not care much about him. And the Epstein stuff and affairs and shit didn’t help him one bit. He’s right to mistrust the media - that shit is like a gourmet breakfast for them.
Basically he revealed himself in the public for what he truly is. A cold blooded greedy ass tycoon with an ego the size of the planets he’s trying to colonise, with a modern style nerd-hipster science theming and old school conservative ideals.
I would only count the ones that aren’t locked down and you can get into the Linux kernel and root user.
That said the low specced laptops might as well be large size mobile phones.
I wouldn’t call that “desktop” Linux.
Ahh I see.
The big question is, would they have gone bankrupt if they had been allowed to hire you?
Meanwhile here in Adelaide…A drizzle of rain and a top of 18C
What. The. Fuck.
Try the same temp on Christmas day…
Where’s my Australian Scorcher of a Christmas?
This flowchart is wrong.
If I follow this reasoning, I should be running windows. I am not running windows, Ergo, either it is incorrect or I am incorrect. And I refuse to believe I’m incorrect.
Because the vast majority of people don’t have a reason to do it. They’ve never used Linux before - heck there are people who have never heard of it before.
The other thing is you and I, chances are can find a use for our old machines, have a place to store it, or know how valuable it currently is. Most other people aren’t aware of how parts or entire systems depreciates, don’t have a use for a second computer, and can’t afford the storage space to store a spare PC for a backup. They also don’t really have time to do a lot of research on the issue or just plain old don’t care.
So what do they do? Well there only remaining option is to throw it away, maybe theyll be a bit wise and take it to an electronics recycler, where you have to trust it won’t get thrown away anyway.
Yeah it’s terrible that people wish other people would die due to their beliefs or activism. It’s just not necessary and just plain inhumane.
On the other hand I just wish these just stop oil protesters weren’t so dumb. I still remember the UK article about them halting a tanker truck. Meanwhile the driver is talking to a news crew saying something along the lines of “Yeah but that’s cooking oil”
Then there’s the thing about them hiring a hall for a rally and holding a banquet. With plastic cutlery… Like what? You’re using oil based shit. At least check yourselves in the mirror before you go out and tell others how to go about things.
Yeah but little Caesars doesn’t sponsor nearly every single extreme sport on planet earth and they don’t sell their pizza internationally.
Red Bull sponsors, Car racing (F1, Supercars, etc) Aircraft comps (STOL, extreme stunts) snowboarding and many many more. They have their own YouTube channels for their sports. Honestly if you want to see some insane shit, chances are it’s got red bull stamped on it somewhere.
Look up the satanic panic
Can’t star trek across the fediverse without multiple space docks.
Just watch for the Klingons on the starboard bow.
Fork it on a different platform - GitLab or something like it - we really should diversify our code repos. Microsoft has too much power with GitHub
