Nice try FBI, but you’re not getting that confession out of me this easily!!!

For the people in the comments not in the know: Rossmann is a respected voice for this sort of thing, even if this post looks like an ad. He’s not one of the bad ones (yet).
Less people were tech literate back then, and the ones who were would likely pirate things like music, than consider buying things out of convenience.
When everyone and their grandmas got online, convenience was something more people were willing to pay for.
That’s just my theory though.
I still call it Twitter.
No age related ball sag.
Does this mean playing competitive chess could prevent cancer??
Been enjoying Lemmy, so I wanted to see how Threads is. “It’s just going to seem like another instance, right?”
It’s Facebook with another skin. The posts are pretty much all the same sort of posts memes take the piss out of. Literally feels just like Facebook… Going to stick to Lemmy, myself.
Fines only exist to punish the poor.
I used it often. Since I got a phone without one, as an upgrade, I use a USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor nearly every time I go out. The adaptor is always plugged into my headphones.
It’s funny that person assumed I’m American, as well. Born and raised in London, UK, yet lived in America for a number of years.
My outlook is entirely from an outsider perspective, and the differences in culture is very, very evident like the examples you mentioned.
I’ve stepped foot in about 39 States and can agree. There’s an incredible amount of diversity in the United States.
If you have money going out per month, use Klarna (or similar services) for Pay in 3 set ups for better goods that may cost a little bit too much for paying all at once.
Whilst there are bargains to be had, many cheaper appliances may fail or reduce in quality so quick; however, the ‘good’ things are often a fair bit out of people’s price ranges.
I have used Klarna for various things around the house, also good shoes, on the same day per month that I’ve received money. They’ve all lasted a very long time and much better than cheaper alternatives, and they’re fully paid off in three months.
There is no interest taken, and can come in handy. I have gotten a washing machine and big fridge/freezer using no interest installment plans, and over time they’ve saved me even more money by being more energy efficient than the cheaper ones.

I am not intending to add fuel to this fire of a comment thread, however I was wondering if Stockholm, Sweden’s solution of burning culled rabbits, for fuel, would be considered ‘reneweable energy’?
Oh same. That intro is what drew me in. Reminds me of when I used to sketch all sorts of demonic beings for fun. But not just the appearance, for me the entire cut scene elements impressed me. From the design to the voice acting and general demeanor of the characters. The emotional depth within each role is rather well accomplished, I would say.
I’m not very good at Diablo 4, I mainly picked it up thinking it would have a sort of MMO thing and expected something not too different to a grindy time waster.
I mainly play other genres, and the last Diablo game I played was D2, when I was a teenager (mid-30s now), which I didn’t even get far into.
I just started Act 6, which I believe is the last, most recently. Where I skip cut scenes in other games I’m really enjoying the story of this, and so I’m finding myself watching them all the way through. The voice acting is great and I’ve never actually felt properly bored.
I’m not bad, but not what I see as the average player of this sort of thing (so not very good either), yet I enjoy it a fair bit! Veeeery dark story, and the cut scenes are incredibly gory sometimes. I think that’s really cool from an artistic standpoint, I kind of get why people like deep horror films so much: there’s just so much cool stuff artists can do with dark themes, and the artists in Diablo 4 really go ham with this! Lilith has like a freakin’ head of horn clusters, like they said “fuck two horns, just keep adding them!” But they made her character REALLY cool looking by doing so. I love it.
Yeah, I believe Kitboga did this with his voice disguised as an old woman.
People here have a big hate boner for Microsoft. I’m with you, this is such a non issue that doesn’t affect anyone, people just like to scream at things I guess. I await an explanation on how selecting a drop down absolutely destroyed productivity or usability.
So much p…roductivity communities… Keeping many of us busy…
Going to see NOFX next month, during their final tour. I can’t wait to sing My Vagina out loud with a big crowd.
