Healthcare person here. Same camp!

Reactions and side effects are dependent on the person. I’m healthy so I don’t typically take medications but this was my experience on Strattera, which you’re supposed to take with food. That warning was no joke. I had to take it with a meal, because I’d risk feeling queasy with only a snack. But at low doses, it was fine. Very manageable.

As my dose was increased, the nausea started becoming constant. I couldn’t do anything to relieve it. At one point I was at a restaurant and had to go throw up in the restroom. After that I decided to stop taking Strattera, because the nausea made for a miserable experience and was not worth it at all. I was instantly better once I stopped.

It’s already a crazy hard hike but if you’re gonna do it in the summer, you gotta start the hike at night. Like start at midnight. Sleep, then hike back up same time. But then you gotta sleep in the day, which - I dunno how you would in that kind of heat. It’s just fucked. I would only do it in the spring or fall. Even April’s pushing it.

I never really got into the Pokémon games. Don’t find turn-based combat very fun. I mean, I guess turn-based is easy and relaxing for when you just want to put your game down and take breaks.

Well, she was manipulative towards the patients. The worst part was when the young suicidal patient was with the girl and she reprimanded him, saying she was going to tell his mom. And she let him of her sight. It was just a power trip.

Just realized he got restrained. You’re not gonna get restrained just for a psych exam. He was definitely doing something - getting hostile, threatening the staff maybe. It depends on the documentation and these hospitals know how to protect themselves. Use of restraints REQUIRES justification; it’s drilled into all the staff. He’s got no shot

Yikes! But I could totally see this scenario happening lol. Maybe he came off agitated, manicky (he’s in the hospital, maybe he’s panicking or upset or whatever). Then he says he’s famous too so the doctor was like oh ok, grandiose delusional. Check, check, and check. Assuming he doesn’t already have a psych history, I don’t see how they would’ve came to the mental illness conclusion if he was simply calmly saying who he was lol I mean that would’ve been really stupid
