Nice - so no impact as you have hydro. Got it

developer time and effort has to increase 100 fold to even touch the energy waste larger downloads create.
How much more efficient do you recon the developers are because of flatpack? Does it quantify against the bandwidth and storage needs?
If you have been using VMware player then qemu would be close in every way.
I can see how it’s an easy fix but IMO it’s a waste of energy and resources to pack up all dependencies for every app.
We use ubuntu at work on about 30 servers. It was a mistake made years ago, I’m hoping to switch them to Debian next year. Ubuntu being a Debian based distro means at least 90% of ansible code will work without changes.
Nice overview of enterprise linuxes (or is that Linii in plural?): https://tuxcare.com/resources/learning/enterprise-linux/
Re-invent the wheel - it’s always less hassle! I’m quite sure your script will be far better and more stable than setting up a dns server to do the blocking.
You can’t change their routers name server but it’s easy to install scripts on their devices?
Just put pihole or other dns server with blocklists somewhere on the internet (you can even host that at your own home!!) and point their routers upstream dns to it.
how about ddosn’t? Please?
Ppa’s are Ubuntu… Debian is not Ubuntu even if Ubuntu is Debian
A ppa is a repo. It’s Ubuntu stuff, and there’s no reason to work your ass off for Ubuntu for free. They’ll just shit on you and claim that snaps are great (they’re not)
And if he gets what he wants you’ll just never return from the woods? The dude that reasons that presidents can kill opposition- literally
Hahaha - yes. Non adhd people will remember.
I’m quite sure it won’t be long until some bad practice spreads like this. Giving clueless “Linux pros” top advice on how to enable a back door.
LLMs can be poisoned and as datasets increase and complexity grows it will be harder to contain.
Cgpt works great for some stuff, but all you know is that someone somewhere wrote something similar. They are no better than Google in predicting what is good material and what’s wrong, and training is statistics.
Someone had bough all the other scissor
Example: “Can I have one scissors please?”
“I’m afraid you can not! We are not having any scissors left…“
Not sure where I’d put net- or open- in this, but I guess it’s meant to cover them all
Its also a vital part of software defined networking
Head-less is without screen (head). You’d need to install the desktop of choice. You only get a screen. It’s for server admin not daily use - even with a fancy one like that.
This is awesome, I just want to point out that once you have a pikvm connected it’s no longer headless. That’s kinda the whole idea about any kvm - to provide screen(s), keyboard and mouse to servers so they’re no longer headless
