But captive axolotls are not really true axolotls, they are different from the near extinct wild ones (they have a bit of tiger salamander mixed in). And this really only holds true if people breed their wild-caught aquatic animals - otherwise you are just grabbing a living being from its home and putting it in a tiny cage. There is a place for wild caught fish, but it doesn’t seem very kind to remove them from their habitat to languish in an aquarium for a fraction of their normal lifespan, which is undoubtedly what happens a lot…
I often just fail until it gets embarrassingly or super inconveniently bad. My only strategy that was ever even a little helpful was breaking the task into tiny micro 5 minute tasks and writing them all down, and doing a few of those at a time. I had adhd though, and am hoping medication will help with that (so far it has a bit).
It’s called enoughmuskspam
Why are you so focused on men vs. women? That kind of subtle (and often not so subtle) sexism that you frequently post isn’t really appreciated, or funny, it’s just shitty and boring. Just treat us like people…
So did you you guys at least dip a cold chocolate bar in it? Was it good lol?
Are you very low on time? I see this happen to people who feel they just don’t have enough time to get everything done that they need to, and therefore any little delay causes a lot of stress. If you can offload some chores or reduce your activity load that may be some help. But there are other reasons for irritability as well.
In Canada they never expire unless the store goes out of business. There’s a few exceptions for things that are services rather than freely spent balance but yeah, to me it seems unfair that they would be able to just absorb that money.
Also a lot of typhoid and stomach flu type pathogens don’t spread butthole to butthole, they spread via the “fecal-oral” route so… that happens in situations like someone took too small a slice and touches your food (or receipt that you ate to prove they liked your gift) without washing their hands properly.
Just submit your deer for testing and if it comes back clean you can safely eat it, easy.
I’m ashamed it took us this long
Or guardian animals. And predation insurance /compensation for your livestock.
What was it? This list really piques my curiosity but I know it’s better not to look….
A good pair of tongs is gamechanger. But in a perfect world I would be able to use a dino head grabber
I think one factor is probably “advances” in food science. Look how many ingredients go into an average fast food bun, for example… we have so many hyper-processed foods made with not just hella preservatives, but instead of wheat flour and butter it’s like wheat and corn starch, gluten, various vegetable proteins and several different oils, etc all recombined in a rather industrial way. It’s cheaper, and it’s sometimes specifically engineered to appeal to our palates, but it’s been taken too far imo. This is not just an issue in fast food by any means.
It would be cool to be able to just combine the content at the user level. You could have all the gaming communities you like under a custom gaming label, with a filter that checks for duplicate titles or links (wouldn’t be perfect but decent) and imports in the comments from duplicate threads (with some subheadings or something to distinguish their origin)
If a homeless person attacks a homeless person, they are still attacking someone society has failed. My interpretation of the comment is that it is more related to the victim than the perpetrator, like shooting elderly people in a nursing home or children or otherwise less privileged people - you’re victimizing someone who doesn’t have the same opportunity to protect or defend themselves or even choose where they reside. This is not to say that they are pitiable or anything like that, but they are disenfranchised.
Is that real??
Oh I see, in my app your comment shows up as a top level comment not a direct reply to someone. But that explanation makes sense !
Also pugs, or Scottish fold cats… and those are creatures we love and keep as pets, not even livestock, and we still do it
