(I don’t think that’s it - it’s 9.99 if you’re paying on desktop and 12.99 with the Apple tax (also applied to Android), but applies to your whole account.)

And why did anyone decide making “unknown” countries completely invisible?
What’s the scale?
Fellow French - wait until you realize their unions only apply to one company and not a whole industry so they can’t actually do anything on a large scale. This broke me.
I’ve never gotten actually decent search results from DDG and was always ending up using !g to find something vaguely relevant, especially for non-English queries.
I absolutely love Kagi. I generally manage to stay under 300 searches per month (the $5 tier), and might move to the unlimited $10 tier just to remove any kind of anxiety around the number of searches (and to support them).
OP specifically asked about EU, where we generally have unemployment benefits and at least a bit of job stability :)
Clearly, this is a pizza oven. Your teenager will love it.
That’s an excellent point, thanks for sharing your insight!
Being emotionally detached from really stupid leadership decisions is harder than it seems
It’s not supposed to be. It doesn’t jam endless recommendations in your feed once you’ve gotten at the end of the new, fresh content. I feel like it’s a feature, not a bug, to have platforms that don’t optimise for time spent on them, because they don’t need our attention to show us ads.
“les mers” lol
I used to eat out almost every night and it cost me nearly as much as my rent.
Since then, I learned some cooking, some 10-min stuff, and did a lot of personal work on emotional eating. I really tried to treat it like an addiction, learning alternatives but also, recently I moved to a less urban area where I’d have to walk 10-15mins to get decent food, when I used to have an all you can eat sushi place on my street. That helped more than anything else!
Finally, I gave myself a couple of special things: given how much I was spending on restaurants I never hesitate to spend a lot on cookware or ingredients, and when my partner comes over we often choose a cool recipe to try out, in order to prove to myself that food can be really great even if it’s not made by someone else.
Now I go out for dinner only if I’m with someone, and I make sure it’s always a special occasion (including a date with my partner, it doesn’t have to be super special, just not “I don’t feel like cooking”). It’s still very hard not to go out when I’m having a tough day but I’ve never done so well :)
She also got suspended from the next 2 games.
try to cure your burnout by waking up and starting work at 6am and passing out at 2am every single day for the rest of your life

In my country it’s free to get a nurse visiting you twice a day when you’re disabled (including old age related disability). You’d also get massive financial aid for a live-in person, but they’d normally be a family member who would get a government salary + possible adaptations to their normal job (eg always working from home).
Hospice is a last resort and it’s incredibly expensive.
