If this is about the FISA/RISAA bill, an article is probably a better source of info than a tweet!

Behind the Bastards did 2 or 3 decent podcast episodes about Oregon’s long history of racism.
As long as “true believers” sign on to represent him. Cults of personalities attract people with… interesting motivations.
… and he will rack up millions in legal fees, that he’ll never pay, in appealing it. When you don’t pay your bills, anything is affordable!
Glad this was the top comment for me. Don’t need to scroll any further.
State Department Barbie & Ken?
I’m pretty hooked on Behind the Bastards, but his newer stuff has gotten a bit sloppy. Too much lazy dunking on conservatives. He does have some really good series though. The Jack Welch series sticks out in my head as particularly good. That, and G. Gordon Liddy.
5-4 is also a recent addition to my playlist.
Well, the thing they won’t say is part of that “heritage,” and won’t admit is the primary reason for the war, lasted almost 300 years. Mostly under the English flag. I always wonder why they don’t fly that.
Florida of the Midwest?
There was a Miller High Life commercial I used to love. It showed a guy’s hand holding a hose and watering his lawn the “old fashioned way.” Then it showed the neighbor’s brand new SUV in the driveway, and said, “The only ‘off-road action’ this $50,000 monstrosity will ever see if is its owner accidentally backs over a flowed bed,”
Wish I could find that commercial somewhere. Makes me laugh to this day when I see the glorified grocery getters in all their perfectly detailed glory!
Thats a fair point, but money changes people. That kind of money is obscene because it effectively puts you above most laws. I, too, would like to believe that the folks on this list would do only good with the money; but the longer the list, the more likely you witness the “Bad Change!” At the end of the day, most folks have families and other concerns outside of their public pursuits. That kind of money, while bringing its own problems, can get rid of just about any “normal people” worries (obviously not something like inoperable cancer)!
Same here. I see a lot of people complaining gabout paying for it, but it’s solid software, and worth the money. It’s helped my wife and I manage our finances and we never argue about money. That’s worth a lot of money IMO.
True, but there aren’t groups of people actively trying to reinstate the Roman Empire. That’s what some of this is, modern day fascists who’ve had kids. Most kids form their earliest political beliefs from their parents, and if Mom & Dad tell them the holocaust never happened…
Thank you! So I CARE about my privacy, so ChromeOS is on the table!?
Don’t forget, the GOP will be winning control of the Senate pretty soon, too.
There’s nothing wrong with the small PC/NAS route. Certainly more powerful and flexible. I’m currently running the *arr stuff in containers on a Synology 1520 (also storing a bunch of other stuff), with Plex running on a Shield Pro. It’s pretty low power draw, and so far does everything I need.
Main thing with running Plex on the NAS is transcoding - audio and/or video. Depending on what your Plex client is, you want to make sure everything you’re streaming can direct play.
I don’t know if the Air & Space Museum has an online gift shop, but they have stuff for all ages. Even if you’re not close to the ones in DC, they have storage hangars all over that they open to the public. Keep an eye out for that.
Obvious next question: how’s the privacy policy on 3rd party stereo makers like Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, Jensen, etc.?
My wife was like this when we met. She also grew up more poor than me. I still see her washing a lot of stuff by hand that should be in the dishwasher. Old habits die hard. The unspoken agreement is when we run out of a utensil, or get down to one, we run the dishwasher.
One thing my mom taught her through me is not putting good kitchen knives or any wood through the dishwasher.
