Imagine if voters only voted for responsible people who would make good presidents.
There’s a lot of negatives such that I certainly would never want it, but the ability to search everything I’ve ever looked at would be handy.
This. The answer is always ads.
They’re not amazing specs. All but the most budget of PCs sold in 2024 would have those specs.
It’s notable as a required minimum though. There’s an implication (not necessarily true) that at some times this feature may require a significant portion of those resources.
Like if your browser was burning away on 8 cores using 16g of RAM you’d notice.

“seem” is the critical word there. Interacting with an LLM they do seem to be pretty clever.
You don’t seem to have grasped the nuance of the conversation though.
Pushing back with more information is only a viable strategy when all parties are participating in good faith.
When the guest demonstrates a clear intent to spread obvious misinformation to further their own interests, discontinuing the conversation is the only recourse.
To say the same thing another way, the host did rebut the guest, but the guest carried on without responding to the rebuttal, intent on using the show as a platform to spread misinformation.
Everyone needs to make their own choices about this but IMO it’s fine.
Pretty much everyone saves recovery codes in their password manager anyway, which is the same thing.

No, my point is that because “science” is reproducible, you do not need faith in the people producing said science, nor do you need to understand it.
You merely need to confirm that it has been reviewed and accepted by other people who do understand it.

That’s just not true. By it’s very nature, what we describe as “science” is reproducible. That means faith is not required.
This seems as good a place as any to point out that I just perpetually have problems with flatpaks and snaps. Appimages less so but I wish they were better integrated.
Yes I understand why devs like these new packages. Yes I think that in the future they will be great. Yes they probably work fine for everyone else. I personally dislike them.
It’s fine to not like CloudFlare but this isn’t really “evidence” of any kind. It’s a one-sided rant on sub stack.
