She was training the dog to hunt pheasants. The dog attacked chickens (pheasants)… And bit her while she was trying to stop it. There was 0 need to kill that dog.

Yeah that comment doesn’t really make sense. I feel like the most common Indian food around me is saucy meat and/or vegetables with rice. Which is very similar texture to many many other cuisines. But variety exists.
I thought it was saying that the actual tech companies were preparing to get attacked by the drones.
Yeah you’re right. I was confused and thought that it was the same parent who brought the first child in that refused the medication for themselves.
Not according to the article: "The outbreak began after a child who’d recently spent time in another country was admitted to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) with an infection, which was subsequently identified as measles. "
Yeah I don’t understand why they would go to the hospital and then not accept the treatment. For a diagnosis? How can they trust the diagnosis if they don’t trust the treatment?
The problem for Johnson is that if he works with Democrats he will get primaried from the right next time he is up for reelection.
Interesting. On kbin I just see “ElBarto”. After seeing their comment I went through the original URL to see the Chinese characters.
Yes but if for example management is pressuring employees to make repairs in X amount of time that causes them to have to rush, its the company’s fault. Similar to Norfolk Southern giving train engineers 45 seconds per train car to do safety inspections.
I think its common depending on the city. In university when I did a lot of walking at night with my friends, a streetlight would turn off at least every weekend. Now years later I’m living somewhere else I’m not walking around at night nearly as much but I do still notice it occasionally.
The documentary you watched was probably on a different species. From the article:
“With the help of a sniffer dog, the team found traces of tunnels and discovered a golden mole in 2021. But because there are 21 species of golden moles and some look very similar, the team needed more to be certain that it was a De Winton’s.”
Same at my Costco. They have 6 or maybe even 9 “self checkouts” and each is manned by an employee who scans everything without removing anything from the cart. Its basically a compact checkout. Recently was in another area and the Costco had true self checkouts with weight sensors messing up and requiring employee overide and all. It was a pain in the ass.
Thats a tortoise 🤓
I agree with you but generally but there are unlucky people that will get ducked. There are situations where you HAVE to sell. If someone loses a job and for a million possible reasons can’t get equivalent employment and can no longer afford their mortgage for example. Medical bills, spouse dies, etc.
Question is when it became “the standard”. We need an internet historian to weigh in.
I think its almost always the editor that’s charged with creating titles.
Because the cities are named by European immigrants naming places after their home towns. It not very original but I guess its better than naming it after yourself
Agreed. I’m not defending Cruise at all. They should have humans in the car if they are testing. Or at least a drone-style driver sitting in a room watching a camera feed. I wonder if the car thought there was just a speed bump ahead. Some speed bumps are striped similar to crosswalks. I can see situations where the autopilot can’t determine if something is a speed bump or genuine obstruction (either false positive or negative).
