I left Reddit much too late. I guess some habits can be hard to break. Then I spent some time on kbin/mbin/fedia, but I’ll be staying here.
Btw I’m a non-binary trans person [they/she/he].
The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention:
SUPPORTS STUDENT DEMONSTRATORS IN THE USA AND AROUND THE WORLD. GENOCIDE PREVENTION CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND ASSEMBLY.
Their statement, released on 29 April 2024 can be found here (5 pages)
Btw Raphael Lemkin is The Unsung Hero Who Coined the Term “Genocide”
It was he who coined the word “genocide.” He was also its victim. Forty-nine members of Lemkin’s family, including his mother and father, were rounded up in eastern Poland and gassed in Treblinka in 1943.
I just want to say that the most disturbing part of this is not that she did this. It’s that this is the message and image that she has carefully decided will help her achieve her career and personal goals.
I just want to say that the most disturbing part of this is supporting Genocide. The reasons why any individual would support a Genocide don’t really matter, it’s not a justifiable position anyways. But the act of supporting it, totally does matter and that’s the problem.
From Russia to Israel
effectively puts Israel in the place of the Jews’ historic persecutors. This is a highly uncomfortable position for many Jewish people, particularly in Israel.
In today’s Israel, minority rights have been suppressed as well, particularly in the West Bank. Palestinians in the West Bank, unlike the Jewish settlers next to them, face violence and discrimination in nearly every aspect of their lives. In other words, Israeli Jews and Palestinians are today not equal partners in an ethnic rivalry.
historical records show far more rioters were arrested and punished by Russia in 1881 than in Huwara this week, where only eight of the 400 Jewish offenders were arrested, only to be quickly released.
Yes, to my knowledge this is how pogroms started, against Jewish people. Latter on, the term expanded to other (ethic, religious among others) minorities as well. And for so-so many decades, zionists have been doing pogroms against Palestinians.
Note: when adding a wiki link in a topic even remotely related to zionism, please keep in mind of the following:

With help from the US. Here is an article from November 2023:
There’s a Wave of Violence in the West Bank. New York Charities Are Helping Fund It.
Tax-deductible donations are arming Israeli settlers with combat gear, surveillance systems, and more.
“The ties between New York state and war crimes being carried out by Israeli settlers are egregious,” said Jay Saper, a New York–based organizer with Jewish Voice for Peace. “It’s long overdue for the state to take action.”
Earlier this year, Jewish Voice for Peace and other anti-occupation groups launched a campaign to stem the flow of tax-exempt donations from New York organizations to West Bank settlements. The “Not on Our Dime” act, introduced in the state Legislature in May, grew out of the activist effort and sought to empower the state attorney general to revoke the nonprofit status of groups funding settlements. Dozens of state legislators almost immediately condemned it as “a ploy to demonize Jewish charities.”
How old are you? Are you 5?
Ok, no link. I’ll go to another point.
You try to present arguments against Hamas by talking about ISIS. ISIS and Hamas are not interchangeable words, and Hamas is not ISIS.
Also even if I don’t speak any variation of arabic it is well known that words can have different meaning in different places in which the same language is officially spoken. We have many examples of english speaking people that use the same word differently, like very differently.
So what are you really trying to do?
I see the publisher of the above is Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. Could you share a link in relation to how they perceive zionism?
Thank you, good to know!
Ok, this is very interesting. How is it he took this initiative? Actually, is it an initiative or part of the process?
Thank you for the clarification!
I’m not sure I understand how these warrants can take place. It will come from other member states in case any of them travel there?
Also how is it that Putin has not been arrested yet? Has he avoided those destinations.
If I misunderstood something or everything, please let me know.
Two helicopters traveling with Raisi made their destination unharmed.
It looks like there were 3 helicopters and only the one carrying Raisi crashed.
So far I have heard it was due to bad weather and that the helicopter was old. If the upcoming investigations shift the narrative to something different than an accident, it could be extremely alarming.
It’s more in relation to the following:
