I never actually counted but thanks to your question I know now. Currently I am enjoying music on 45 playlists and there is zero songs overlapping, with a small exception of “temporary” playlist — where songs are awaiting being sorted and this one is generally a “beautiful mess”.
There might be like 5 songs that occupy different playlists but they are in different versions, covers, unplugged/concert versions or redefining remixes.
I wish I knew about all of them, it is more of a journey, exploratory process.
Laeyouzoids™ are created whenever you are doing something important, or when you are passionate about it, when you like or love what you are currently doing…
Those are a little rarer, thus more complex in their flow at first glance. More defined and brighter.
You do it naturally and automatically, using your whole body and energy — whether you sleep, sit and watch a video, walk somewhere, dance, wait in a queue, ride your bike… Some would say that you can not not create one.
But, there is a special kind of Youzoids™, maybe you wanted to know about those? They are called Laeyouzoids™…
Sure, tell me what would you like to know?
Youzoid™
— wherever you go, whatever you do, you create this one and only shape that has never existed in any time and space. Science is baffled by those shapes, as they are constantly popping into existence everywhere.
Theoretically they can be morphing from Anteyouzoids™ and even into Postyouzoids™ — those require further research.
That’s what I meant — it has six different designs depending on the mode you are in — for me that’s the definition of a functional design in action…
Sidenote, this was the first game, while playing, I felt like they actually figured out a solid idea for fixing the regular overkill artillery in so many games. I remember you, Max Payne with 10 guns in pockets, grenade launcher plus nades and molotovs…
6 different guns in a such compact form factor for a price of not dying while being chosen to actually use it, with a tiny little perk on the side of automagically becoming the Director of the Bureau with the side hustle of talking with Paranatural Entities/The Board — how’s that too chonky?
I have way too little knowledge about the genre in general but there was something oddly satisfying about the Service Weapon a.k.a. Director’s Gun from the Federal Bureau od Control…
But I am guessing the part of using it as a game mechanic makes a big difference, there were plenty cool looking things in movies or series — but this one just jumped first to my mind.
Yeah, major bullet dodged there. Just when I started actually appreciating Figma and heard about the Adobe plans, I automatically felt like I just need to hate Figma to not get used to it too much — just in case.
Affinity is great and gets better, Figma stays great and gets better, for now at least, all fine with me. No Adobe logo anywhere in sight — good news for me.
“The feeling hit me like a point blank shot straight in the face.”
I am currently using stoic. — day 440, so it seems it is over a year now.
I started using it because when I was like 14-17 I remember doing something like that in notebooks, writing down some ideas, sometimes dreams and whatnot. Later I lost them somehow and lately was wondering what would be there if I would ever find them…
There is this neat feature in stoic that shows you under the latest note what you wrote one month ago. There is much more to this app, but it is mostly a journal for me.
Some say they are Nokias 3310 among laptops.
From all the people I knew that ever had them, they still have, very often still use and eventually compare any other / newer laptops with them.
I am a designer, so for me anything anyhow connected with visual aspects.
Someone already posted about old coins and film photography so I will add:
· Watching Movies — at least once for the story and overall feeling, then for the story again and visuals, colors etc., later for techniques, ideas, framing, music, rhythm, cuts and so on.
· Stamps (Philately) — what more can I say, sometimes I forget about my unsegregated albums, but when I reopen them or find something to add, I am gone.
· Collecting well designed magazines and other printed materials — this one was a big one for me, for a long, looong time. Still, from time to time I will find a great business card or a catalogue, as they are becoming scarce now, or in the ocean of very poor design — it always feels like finding a real treasure.
Sure, definitely a solid view. I don’t remember who said that, but “the shortest way to solve a problem is knowing which questions to ask and to whom” — something like that.
I really like how this is split almost exactly in half, I would love to see more arrows, more data is always best.
I know, she is amazing, thank you! “Your mom” is great too!
Big part of me clearly knows there is no such thing as a binary right and wrong in life, yet… this is a crystal clear example somehow — and not the only one.
Obviously, I know absolutely nothing about you, and if your standards are some over the top expectations or demands then you should stop calling them standards… BUT if your standards are healthy boundaries and some basic safety precautions then by any means try not to mess with them even when the situation is rough — this can burn for a looong time…
I have this neighbor. He is like 70+ yo, after a stroke and a heart attack, barely talks and walks…
Somehow, this guy still has some slapping sense of humor. How come he pulls it off and most people I briefly checked online history of can’t and more often than not are the same people talking “everyone is just too serious nowadays”, “no-one can get a good joke anymore, huh?” or “why they banned me? Again!”…
I am not saying this about OP, but I am starting to notice a trend.
