Some people do look ahead. Those people are diagnosed with mental health issues like general anxiety disorder.

If all humans died there wouldn’t be anyone getting sick at all from anything!

Plenty of mental health issues present with anger as an initial response to perceived negative situations. Maybe that’s why op is seeking help.

No I have. Creating a product then finding a use is the very definition of cart before horse-ing. Marketing does most of the heavy lifting for getting people excited about crap they don’t need, and Apple is the king of marketing.

Technology used to be more about solving a problem or making something difficult easier. This thing has no real use beyond “neat”. But that Apple logo holds some very powerful magic for certain people.

Forcing adulthood on a precooked brain does that. Couple that with a bleak future, low income, constant influence from every direction… Yeah it makes sense.
