Second wind

• new channel. The crew that made all good videos on escapist (zero punctuation) left and made their own channel to keep doing the same thing.

Probably eventually I’ll block *grad and *hexbear. But some of the brain dead stuff they post is pretty funny.

And since there’s no way for me to “see it”, I don’t believe it.

I’ve learned that I have to repeat it back to them so that we’re both on the same page. It can feel scary because you don’t want to look like an idiot, but it’s better to look like an idiot now, than a dumbass later.

I’ve got a “father figure” who I’m not on speaking terms with. I’m in my early 30s. I am also a father. I have also tried to keep the door open and have been punished for it.

This is the part where I give you advice, but I don’t really have any. You’re not alone. Our generation had a large shift away from believing that respecting your parents meant that you had to do everything they said. Some people simply don’t comprehend that respect must be earned. I will make sure that I deserve the respect of my child.
