And wildfire smoke which didn’t use to be a thing where I live.

One thing I would do is use my water bending powers to open a house painting business (interior/exterior and cabinets). I would promise completely perfect results in 1 day or less with the caveat that the customer cannot be home for ‘safety’ reasons. Oh! I could partner with an air bender and we could have places completely painted, not a drop spilled, and completely dry in 1 hour or less. Without even over charging people we could do so much volume we’d make bank!

I may or may not be painting right now and hating reality.

Jokes on them, they made me take off my glasses that hide aspects of my wonky face but I wear glasses 100% of the time out in the world. You’ll never catch me, copper!

I don’t wipe it unless it gets gummed up but honestly I’ve can’t think of anything where this happens anymore. All of my condiments are either jars or squeeze bottles. I never wipe squeeze bottles and they never get gummed up. Jars only get wiped if they somehow got a bunch of stuff in the grooves, which is excessively rare.

That being said using a finger is nasty and I hope you guys don’t serve guests from those bottles.

Just movies? I haven’t read a review in years. I know from the trailer if I want to see it or not. Maybe I’ll stumble upon a video discussing something about it and become intrigued or turned away.

I do seek out reviews of video games because it is usually a significant cost and I want to make sure it’s something I’ll like. Both print and video.

Wait, your workplace has a training? I’ve been looking for a training to send to my leadership because it is a huge blind spot in the organization and they are very empathetic and open to learning more.

I never fully lost my taste (maybe 80% lost during active infection) but it only partially came back. It feels like there’s a “section” or “zone” of flavor I can’t taste anymore. Like a blind spot. I am extremely saddened by it and have an even more complicated relationship with food now.

It also rewired my taste and some smell so some things taste really different. For example, coffee tastes like stagnant mildewy mop water and smells like a recently used litterbox. Only minor variations for brand, at home drip vs. barista, etc.

Going into a coffee shop smells like venturing into a crazy cat lady’s condemned home.

We had one indoors in a sun room for years and years. Rarely used, eventually just ignored.

But man the cover was a great surface for cutting fabric and general use.

This makes so much sense, is there any evidence? I don’t want to spread the rumor as a fun fact unless there’s something behind it. Very fun idea!

Hahaha I saw this after bailing on another post. Like 80% of the time I think better of it. My comments tend to actually get posted when I’m in bed half asleep. Apparently I’m more willing to share when I’m mentally impaired from tiredness

I don’t have a lot of information about this but in the Before Times I worked with a couple of people who operated a side business of getting groceries and running errands for housebound or elderly people. They didn’t advertise, it was word of mouth, but it is something you could consider.

You could put up flyers and put them in areas that your target demographic hangs out (VFW, senior center, the grocery store bulletin board). Use large, bold font.

The way they handled it required more personal interaction (going over receipts with someone vs. their shopping list) but once they had a few regulars it was a fine business. It didn’t make much but I think they wanted it to be closer to a service than a massive money maker.

Just something to consider if you feel the new apps (which can be a barrier to the elderly) aren’t meeting your needs.
