Israel did like x10 October 7’s to Gaza, and that’s an understatement given that people are now starving and dying of thirst. Israel should be ashamed.
This war and all of these deaths were avoidable. Israel is not some force of nature. It’s an apartheid state, founded illegitimately, and has an increasingly racist knesset that is calling openly for genocide. This is the second Nakba. Israel did the equivalent of the holocaust to another nation of people, and have shamelessly called it Nakba 2023. The news has gotten so sick that I can’t read it without my stomach turning. Patients dying of thirst, sick children unable to make a forced journey to the south which will also later be bombed, doctors who have lost family and colleagues all in the same month and are somehow holding on, the cutting of water. This is what Israel is doing.
The best thing to do would be to end apartheid.
