Oh it gets better than that - sometimes it’s several times a year because often they just kick the can down the road for 3 or 5 months then have to revisit it again.

Why is it not for some people? Serious question - seems like a few mixed in here and there would be the norm but I’m not sure tbh. But just based on movies, tv, etc, that’s what I’m accustomed to hearing. And real life too.
I would be interested to know how much capacity each sprinkler has and how many sprinklers there are. Also, how high/far can they spray. Basically, what is the system’s limitations in a particularly fast moving fire on a very windy day? This is a really neat concept, glad it worked out for him.
In Louisiana some of the best fried chicken and other Cajun food is in gas stations. Not even joking. It’s usually small towns, but there are some around NOLA and other cities, too.
Awesome addition!
Years ago my friend and I were driving in NE Mississippi at about 2 am to visit another friend. Out of nowhere this kid - maybe 12, but doubtful if that - with no shirt on just sprinted across the road.
We both looked at each other and said, “Did you see that?”

It’s like Return of the Jedi in that respect.

I believe Iceland has this as well.
Any recs for something halfway decent in the US?
JUST LET US BE A MONOPOLY!!!
No idea, glad it’s not just me I guess.
Why was a security camera in the bedroom? Or was it somewhere else but you could see in the bedroom? Am I the only one who finds this odd, or is this a common thing to have for 12 and/or 8 year olds?
Mmmmhmmmmm, glad others recognize it too.
FWIW, the levees held for Ida, a cat 4 that hit a couple of years ago. It was the first big test and passed since Katrina. But yes, sadly the city is sinking. But enjoy it while it is here! Truly wonderful place.
Mind saying what podcast? I’d like to listen.
Wow. That’s wild.
Not any worse than peddling Scientology tbh
Elon? You flying commercial these days?
