Doesn’t it get lonely though?
Doesn’t it get lonely though?
Shame. Every person is a universe you could explore.
You’re just dead inside. Because of the Internet.
It is gambling becaae there is a “house” you at playing against, whoever sets the odds and has a financial interest in them.
If you’re playing a singleplayer game, you are still triggering the same mechanisms, but no one is profiting from you staying up until 3am playing a singleplayer game you already paid for.
I think it’s a north American thing. In a lot of cultures around the world you are expected to take care of your parents, either financially or in terms of letting them live with you. Because… You know… They took care of you when you needed it the most?
It depends on if you value your time or not. That’s what you gamble in WoW. If you don’t get your drop at the end of the raid, you lost time. When a new expansion obsoletes your gear, you lost time.
Oh wait, you literally have to buy play-time to even do the raid in the first place and roll the wheel. Not to mention the (sub)time it takes to level up and gear up.
Yeah. Just because you are not pulling out your wallet at every kill doesn’t mean you aren’t gambling and losing, both time and money.
If I hit my little toe against the bed’s leg, the right word is “fuck”.
They are not jokes. People here really don’t see a problem with violence, unless it against “the bad guys”. It’s sickening.
But guys in a DeCeNtRaLiZeD social network no one is in control of what content gets posted.
Agreed. Not a big fan of military in general, but NATO probably won’t go straight to nuclear genocide, as much as some people around here seem to want that.
Oh the irony. Lol.
So you think we should all be allowed to smoke in non-smoking places? The school already has all info on all it’s kids, what else “private” is being revealed here? If you break the rules of the establishment where you are, they’ll try to identify and ban you, because that’s how private property and bylaws work. School is no different. If you break the rules you face the consequences.
Is this logical and useful? No. Does it help kids become better and learn? No. Will it actually reduce vaping? No, it’s a leaderboard now.
But is it invading privacy? Also no. It is enforcing nonsensical draconic rules, but not revealing any information that wouldn’t be already known or demanded by the institution in that situation.
I agree with you but I don’t think it’s intrinsically unethical because they are skulls, but because there might be humans emotionally attached to the remains of the diseased. Those skulls belong to someone (not the dead person anymore), and it is up to that person like with the rest of their property. In this regard, selling the remains of a loved one so you can feed the living, sounds exploitative to me, but I could say the same thing about any other economic injustice. All of with fall under unethical consumption under capitalism.
If no one has a connection to said skull, then I’d agree that it is just a piece of bone, and dealing with it is no more ethical or unethical than with a piece of bone your dog finds outside.
They are, but defederation helps keep the echo chambers separate.
If the vaccine hits you like that… Imagine how much worse COVID would be. That’s my data lol
No arguments will evaporate because the rich dudes that make and listen to those arguments all have fancy private insurance. It’s a non-issue for them.
Wtf is wrong with you? OP is literally walking down the path opposite to incedom. Fuck off troll.
It means they are a bottom.
I was talking about your attitude. Lol.
