I don’t see much about India in the news. I have a friend who worked in a small town for a month during medical school and talks about the poverty and the number of people she saw sleeping on every flat surface in the city.

I work in public education in the US. With Indian families I’ve seen two very different attitudes, which leads me to believe that culturally they either serve others or expect to be served. Most are kind, pleasant, and very appreciative of anything we do for their kids. Others expect us to bend every rule for them- start and end times, attendance, bus times/routes, etc. Our Indian families tend to carry and feed their kiddos longer than others and it seems like little kids (especially boys) ‘rule the roost’ as parents often say things like - he won’t go to bed, won’t stay at the table to eat, won’t get up in the morning, etc. You want to say, “He’s 5. You’re the mom. Set some rules.”

I’ve rented an airbnb for a few hours when i had a long layover. Some hotels have day rates. There’s an app - hotels by day or something like that.

All of them as long as it’s not too hot.

Is it wrong to save your money and get nothing? Maybe a card with just your name?

Job and newer tech things, but that’s training and time period rather that skill.

I think you meant to reply to OP. But yeah, it can make it hard to be productive. I mostly use it late in the evening, like a nightcap.

I’ve made ginger hard candles. I want to try candied ginger and I’d really like to figure out a ginger chewy candy.

Also, you can make really good money welding.

Most people wouldn’t be willing to even cover the cost of the yarn. Good yarn can be crazy expensive!

What kind of candy do you make? I make cannabis edibles. I’ve done gummies, peanut butter cups, caramels, and hard candies. I tried peppermint melts but they were really terrible!
