I read somewhere that Kim kardashian confirmed that he didn’t get this joke. I don’t care if it’s real, because it makes me very happy to imagine

Remember a few years ago when Connor mcgregor was going to fight Floyd mayweather? Those two native English speakers had entirely different theories about the word “boy.”
Just because some Arabic speakers use a different word for a different thing, does not mean that these Arabic speakers are. Imagine for a moment, that this is a horrible coincidence: what would you need to see to prove it to yourself?
They should have allowed it and also invited a few reps from the ICC
I mean, she posts to a blog called “vain asylum,” so she’s at least self aware.
It’s not a bad thing to allow members to all communicate with everyone. If I joined a discord server and didn’t have permission to participate immediately (or after filling out the survey/age verification/etc.), I’d leave. If I was that shameless a streamer, I’d lie on the survey.
This man’s wife specifically asked him not to, because he also tried to kill her last year. I was expecting to have more sympathy for the man, but then I read the story. His kid brought him in to confess, which is an unbelievable position to put your kid in.
I do understand putting someone out of their misery, and I’m not unempathetic towards the grinding horror that is capitalism, but this is an awful thing for other reasons as well.
Probably at least half of it is water weight, so it might be pretty close to the recommended pound per week
What you’re describing (enslaved people’s children are automatically also enslaved) is chattel slavery, it’s a special kind of evil.
However, those other things you listed are also slavery (people forced to work against their will). No, they’re not the same, but they’re both forms of slavery. The definition is broader than you might expect.
It’s just really extreme marriage counseling
It’s like bread dough and bread. Reshaping bread dough is easy. The same process doesn’t work for bread, but you can grind it into crumbs and make other foods with it. You probably won’t be able to make the same kind of bread, but you can use it for thickening sauces or deep frying things and it is a form of recycling. Trying to then recycle the next food is much harder.
Your opinion doesn’t need to be respectable for you to have the right to vote.
Nobody answered you, but there was a conflict with reddit and Star Trek mods several years ago and so a large group of fans came here much before last June. They’re just better established than other groups.
The first reference in that article is to a behavior. It’s not IS’s fault that there are a lot of articles denigrating people with NPD for displaying that behavior. The behavior itself is an issue, whether or not the person doing it has NPD. A job interview is an example of flattery and manipulation, and that’s why nobody expects them to be an absolutely accurate view of a person.
The second reference is a language issue and it’s a valid point. “Narcissistic” is a loaded term, in that it’s both a diagnostic descriptor and a colloquial term, and it’s easy to simply substitute it with egotistical or self-obsessed, which don’t have additional medical definitions. This is the absolute first time this has come across my radar, though, so I wouldn’t be hugely surprised if it’s also not on IS’s radar- the author of that piece ascribes it to hate, but that seems like a real stretch.
I watched the video, and then visited the sources. This seems like a good candidate for the psychology of the video, but frankly, there are a lot of sources that all describe the methods of alt-right actors online. It would be great if it was better sourced, but it’s a quick video that doesn’t cover too much new ground.
The title of the article is also misleading- the author notes a poorly cited video and two microaggressions against people with NPD, but those aren’t reactionary things imo.
Especially weird considering that Christmas has been set to December for a long time, so 98% of year 1 AD was actually before the ostensible birth of Christ (I know that scholars now think he was born in April or something, but they probably didn’t always)
In that case, given that many of the people kept by Israel have never seen the inside of a courtroom, that would be a biased use of “prisoner.”
It sounds like you might just be too fit for that to work. I used to do 14 hours of (recreational) dance a week and I would only really get a runners high when I went to a weekend long dance event and was doing cardio for at least 6+ hours.
Or it’s not universal, who knows.
I work at a bakery. The number of people who ask for half a loaf of bread (normal to buy in this area, but they’re not pre-cut), then get upset when I pick up a whole loaf so I can cut half off is mind blowing to me. I’m also not a native speaker and autistic, so I’m wary of being inadvertently way too rude if I comment on it.
I hope that’s what we call the media storm that occurs after we find out that he underwent surgery to lengthen himself.
Is there a native Portuguese speaker in the child’s life? Otherwise it’s a little dicey, because they’ll inherit your errors, but if you’re really careful about it and flood them with Portuguese language input from native speakers in the form of songs and audiobooks that you can read along with in person, you can still give them a good linguistic foundation.
