    Somebody more knowledgeable than me… wouldn’t mining somebody’s port (the Romanians) be an act of war?

    Edit: Romania is also a nato member, so if so…. Fuck.

      Don’t worry, there’s no historic precedent for attacks on civilian shipping vessels leading to major war.

              Ukraine doesn’t have an errant nautical mine problem. This mine is a Russian attack on merchant vessels. If Russia can’t control the waters overtly, they will try to make it an exclusion zone, which is going to piss off a lot of other countries.
